I've decided to write a review because I know how frustrating it is to spend a lot of money and come out disappointed. If you read other reviews, you know this costume is going to need some adjustments. If you're not prepared for this, don't buy it. Also, it's definitely recommended to have someone assist you. I was able to get all of the pieces on myself except for the chest/back pieces. It's a little awkward. The main issues are the Velcro and the bodysuit itself. While the bodysuit fit me, it was a little bulky and there is no front access to use the restroom for males. You can modify it by adding a zipper or adding a Velcro enclosure. If a female wants to buy this for herself, be prepared to take the whole thing off either way as it's a one piece body suit. For the Velcro pieces, I've replaced mine with industrial strength Velcro and added some as well in a few places. Particularly the thighs and the chest/back pieces. These are the most notorious for falling off. The chest/back pieces will pop off of each other if you move around too much (they're connect by 4 Velcro squares, 2 up by your shoulders and 2 down underneath your arms). And by too much I mean raising your arms too high or twisting your torso.. I've heard of others that have used a rivet gun and other means to make it even more solid which I would definitely recommend if you're planning on travelling with the suit on. If you want to add some additional rigidity and depth to the armor, either add a bit of padding to the back of each piece or use something like styrocoat (I've never used this product but seems like it might be promising). For the helmet, you need to add padding to conform to your head. Mine was very loose due to the fact it was just one layer of padding around the whole helmet. It's fine if you have a large head, but I certainly don't :P Other than that I think the suit is fantastic. Is it worth the price? Not really. If it was more around 150-200 then I'd say yes. But as is, it needs some changing. The details are amazing and the helmet is very high quality and includes LED lights which is great. The packaging mine came in was superb as well. So either past reviewers got one off issues or they've really upped their game in shipping. To finish up the review, I'm happy with my purchase and would recommend it to anyone who's willing to put just a little bit of extra work into a costume that really does look amazing. I don't currently have any pictures on my laptop but I'll try and post a couple this weekend when I wear it again. ... show more

Many who are buying this are not people who do serious cosplay. All costumes even for 501st Legion members need constant repairs, modifications and other things. Yes the Velcro is lacking and it needs extra, yes you need help getting dressed why they put the video for you to watch. This is ABS and the helmet being loose is so you can put fans where you need them, get in a headset so you can talk and other things that professional cosplayers use. Lack of being able to go to the restroom again planning go before you suit up. If you ever hear a 501st Legion stormtrooper walk you will hear clanking, handler saying hold up while they adjust items. Quality is good and all the above applies. It's lil to big but the outfit looks great it feels kinda cheap made like it break really easy. Had problem with the helmet the lol glass part came lose but I fix it kinda hard walk around in it.. But I believe they need drop the price down on it some more like around 200 hundred dollars

The media could not be loaded. I'm 5'10" and 170lbs and the medium fit decently though it was tight in the chest and arms due to the padding. There is a built-in balaclava which seems to slip out of place and over my eyes frequently. It's pretty warm and will keep you comfortable on cool Halloween nights but uncomfortable to wear for indoor events. The helmet will likely need a bit of padding to secure it's fit. It is a much higher quality build than the rest of the suit. It does light up. You'll need to remove the tab inside the helmet to allow the lights to stay on. UPDATE: I've since added a batter powered cooling fan that I built out of spare PC parts which keeps the helmet cool and prevents the visor from fogging up (see media attached to review) As expected the plastic is pretty thin and will likely crack easily. Once I put it on pieces were rubbing against one another causing scuffing which is fine due to the fact that certain types of damage look fine with this costume. Shoe covers seem like they can get damaged very easily especially while navigating stairs. Movement is extremely limited and the visor is dark. Simple tasks such as putting on and removing your helmet prove to be difficult when you have everything on. Don't expect to easily be able to go to the washroom in this costume as there is no fly and it's is challenging to remove without help. You WILL need a person to help you get the costume on and most likely help you take it off. The gloves are printed polyester and have no "armor" padding on back of hands or knuckles. They fit loose as well. However with all the issues, the look of this costume is OUTSTANDING and is heads & tails above the previously licensed Superior Halo 3 Master Chief costume.
