    • What a solid stand!
This Diolili archery target stand is awesome! Besides being sturdy and well constructed, I've never received an assembly-required item with better instructions and packaging. Each individual frame piece was separately placed in a plastic sleeve labelled with the part number. Also, the various hardware items (bolts, etc.) were packaged in separate labelled bags. The pictorial instructions were clear and referred to the labelled part numbers so there was no mistaking which part to use. I was very impressed by the construction quality. The square metal tubes forming the frame were made of thick steel with a powder-coated finish. (I compare this with another widely available frame costing about half as much, which was reported to be thin metal tubing with plain paint finish, that bent easily and was subject to penetration by arrows! No way an arrow is going to dent this Diolili frame.) The stand weighs about 30 pounds when assembled - not too heavy to move around easily, but indicative of the robust construction and helpful with stability of the target. The frame is adjustable in width and height. The sliding sections were fairly stiff to move, due to the close tolerance between the parts. It might be easier to have two people to push or pull the sections when adjusting, but we don't adjust the dimensions that often. The wide legs add stability, and with the added weight of the target there is little if any movement when arrows hit the target. Amazon did not package well for shipping. The original product is packaged very well, with the pieces separated by the plastic bags and styrofoam inserts. However, Amazon placed the product box in a much larger overpack box with no additional packing, so the product box was free to flop around inside the larger box during shipping. There was damage to the outer box, but the inner product box was still in decent condition. I spent a lot of time looking into target stands and this Diolili product really stood out above the rest. I was very pleased to have it live up to expectations, and am sure it will provide many years of service. ... show more

    • Pretty stable, good design
Since I have a stack of wheat straw bales as a backstop, I put this right in front and it gives me an easier time changing targets and anything that misses my woven targets just hits the bales. It’s pretty easy to assemble and is a lot more stable than I originally expected. You can configure two smaller woven targets or one larger one and the minimal frame width reduces the chance of tip/arrow damage from a miss. Could be less but it sells for a pretty fair price for the quality and performance. Solid four stars. ... show more

Overall it’s a really solid stand with some quirks and difficulty. It seems easy to put together, but I had to resort to a dead-blow hammer! The slip joints were insanely tight. There is no way a single person could make size adjustments to this thing. I even had to start sanding both the finish and the plastic insert on multiple joints just to get them to go together without a hammer. I for one do not plan to adjust the size very often just due to this problem. Once it’s together it’s easy enough to move around and not terribly heavy. I found the knobs to be easy to work with and hold well. And the price isn’t bad. I just wish the joints were nicer. I’d rather not have to do a bunch of fitting work for this price point. I hate to give it only three stars, but I cannot over-emphasize that I should not need a hammer to change the dimensions! ... show more

I needed a large target stand that could support a heavy target. It is well made without “jiggle” and is nicely powder coated. I like that it is highly adjustable so I can use many different targets. I have my Matrix target mounted in the photo (I think it weighs around 40 lbs).

    • Very Sturdy Stand for The Price
This is a great back yard practice target stand. It's made well enough that if you cover it with a tarp it should hold up if left outside for extended periods. It's solid and stays in place well. I'm liking it so far.

    • Somewhat difficult to manage
This is a fairly solid target stand and I gave it 4 stars because of the difficult of setup and basically the difficulty of making adjustments to it. For example, it can be extended or collapsed on each side. But on each side there are 3 hand screws to tighten AND spring loaded buttons with holes. And each slide is kind of stiff to work with. Imagine having to loosen each of the 3 sliders and instead of moving the side inward or outward as a whole, you must press the button for each slide and push or pull it past the hole. A rubber mallet is your friend. And why?? Aren't the hand screws enough here?? Ok, enough of that. It's built out of metal and not a lot of plastic. I can see it getting arrow hits and damaging the arrows more than the frame. But it is not a bad target holder. Just not great. ... show more
