Prayers answered! After finding myself needing to, uh, size up in the pantsular region I was having a really difficult time finding pants that would fit without either squishing my rolls into tummy aches or making me look like a sad lumpy sack. These pants are the answer. High enough waist to hide my shame, thick enough fabric to keep things smooth, generous enough to feel comfortable sitting at a desk all day. For the first time in way too long I feel like my lower half looks good. Plenty of room in the thighs, but not to the degree that it feels baggy. The pockets aren't giant but they're not those weak lil' girl pockets either that will only hold a quarter. You could put your phone in there if you wanted. And the pockets don't gap out like they're gasping for air as some dress pants do. They're also the perfect length for flats, but you could wear a low heel with them if the mood strikes. Basically I'm in love and need about 80 pairs. The fabric seems sturdy enough that I'm optimistic it will be some time before the dreaded chubby thigh rub holes show up, but if I'm wrong I'll update this review. Update 1/25/16: After wearing these at least twice a week (including physical activities like Improv) I can see no wear, even in the thighs where I usually find pants failing. They haven't stretched out or worn through anywhere! This fabric is fantastic and I'm about to order two more pairs. I would ABSOLUTELY stand by and recommend the quality of these pants.

Love the pants if I can get the right size but there is a HUGE gap in the sizes! And they don’t have a size long length for the size 2! So they fit great but they are high waters! Get a size 4 and they are huge on me! If they made a size 2 long I would order 10 of these!

What can I say, they're Dickies brand pants which usually translates to good quality. Right away the fabric is super soft yet thick like work pants should be. They are easy to care for wash and hang dry no ironing necessary. They are true to size and the fit is good. However, if your hips and waist tend to be around the same size (rectangular body shape) you may find that these pants want to slip off unless you wear a belt. Same problem if you have a belly but your hips are smaller these will definitely slip down. I ordered the long length because sometimes uniform pants run a little short but these run a bit long even the regular length is a little long (just past ankle). Also the boot cut legs are nice and roomy. The price is spot on.

I have been wearing these occasionally for a few months now. They fit very small in the waist if you get petite but have anything other than a flat stomach/no butt. I haven't noticed any fading, but I got khaki, so it'll never be obvious if it happens. My chief complaint with these is how easily they wrinkle. I don't always have time to break out the iron to unwrinkle these in the morning, so I wear them less and less. I used to wear Dickies when I worked retail and wore them every day at that, and I never had to deal with much wrinkling so the quality may have changed from 10 years ago.

First off, was sent a regular length pair when I ordered short, so that's annoying. The material of these pants feel so cheap, they're thin and crinkly. They also run super small and it doesn't feel like the 3% is providing any stretch at all and I would consider these a LOW rise not a mid rise pant. I usually wear a size 0 or 2, and I ordered these in a two and could barely get them over my hips, and there was no chance of buttoning them, I imagine a 6 might have fit me. There's also a lot of loose white threads at the seams which is glaringly obvious on a navy pant. I can only imagine by the feel of these pants that they would wrinkle terribly. I work a physical job where I'm up and down on ladders a lot and there's no way these would survive that kind of work.

I bought these pants for work as an animal control officer. I have spent most of my work life wearing 5.11 and other high end work pants but they are always so uncomfortable and dig in regardless of the size. I have had people suggest Dickies before so I bought these on a whim because of the price and the fact they were boot cut. I bought 1 size up because all of my other work pants require a size up. Let me tell y’all, these pants DELIVERED. They are soooo comfortable and stretchy but not thin and cheap. I actually will go with my regular pant size when I buy my next pair because there is no reason to size up and I WILL be purchasing them again. The only thing that would make them better for me is a cargo pocket on the legs. I also did have to hem them but that’s not uncommon for me because I have such short legs. However, for the fit and comfort, I’m willing to give up the cargo pocket and hem away. I love these pants and highly recommend them for anyone that is struggling to find a comfortable pant in emergency services.
