Reason for Purchase: I'm working as stage crew for a musical in a historic theater (no air conditioning). As crew, I needed pants that were built tough, easy to move in, and easy to clean. To avoid melting backstage, I also needed them to be breathable and light weight. And finally, I needed my pants to have real pockets (not always a given for women's clothing). Enter these Dickies Cargo Pant Scrubs. My Stats: Height: 5'7 Usual Pant Size: 3x (24 women's) Size Purchased: 3x Pros: -Sturdy construction -Easy to wash/dry -Easy to move in (while standing) -Fabric breathes well -Large pockets -Secure drawstring waist -Comfortable Cons: -Way too long (I'm 5'7 and purchased the regular length, but these pants drag on the ground by at least an inch when I wear them) -Waist runs large (these were looser than expected, but the drawstring helps) -Tight in the hips and thighs when sitting (note: other reviews say that fabric will relax over time) -Attracts pet hair Overall: These are a good pair of scrub pants that combine the sturdiness (and pockets) I need while working crew with the light, breathable fabric I need to avoid being a heat casualty backstage. However these tend to run very long (regular length has a 33.5 inch inseam), and I find they must be cuffed or pinned to avoid dragging on the ground. I usually see inseams that length in pants designed to be worn with heels, and I don't know anyone sporting scrubs with stilettos.

I love how these scrubs fit my admittedly large bottom, and yet are also the perfect length. Most of the scrubs I find that fit my ample back-side have leg lengths that require hemming if I don't want to walk around on raggedy-ass cuffs. The pockets are placed for good utility, and they have actual pouch pockets, not just patch pockets. I would highly recommend these scrubs.

I have washed these and my first paircountless times, neither show any signs of wear. They are comfortable and breathable. They’re a bit too long for me (I’m 5’4”), but that’s common with most scrub pants and can be easily hemmed. The fabric weight/type seems to vary between colors. My black is “cooler” feeling and reminds me of a light percale, while the grey has more of a brushed feel and very slightly heavier. This is good as if they were too thin, you risk them being translucent, I just prefer the other weight. The best part is they accommodate curves/hips, which can be a challenge with straight scrub pants. I haven’t experienced any bunching.

I have bought 4 of these. A good amount of pockets, which hold all of my pens, etc. I work in a restaurant, & am plus size & petite. Even with getting petite pants, they needed to be hemmed about 2-3 inches. I wear these with suspenders, & they stay on pretty well, so long as the suspenders have something to grip. I wash these with my other darks in cold water. They seem more well made than other pants I’ve tried, & are lasting longer.

The scrubs were comfortable and allowed for unrestricted movement. They stay up, the drawstring is nice and so is the elastic in the back. Only downfall is they are super long in length and I am 5’9. They are great for the price point, they should become softer after a few washes. Side note.. they are the cotton feel and not the super silky, slick material which is what I was going for!
