I bought a bunch of shorts for vacation. 3 pairs of the FOURSTEEDS womens cargo shorts, these Dickies Women's 11" Relaxed Stretch Cargo Shorts, Grape Leaf, 12, and Carhartt Women's Rugged Professional Series Rugged Flex Loose Fit Canvas Work Short, Shadow, 12. These were the least favorite of all the shorts. Guys get good cargo shorts, easy comfortable fabrics, usable pockets, good colors... I know, my hub wears all these shorts year round! Girls get--when ordering from those same big name brands--horrible fits, uncomfortable fabrics, and less colors. The Dickies looked like I was trying to wear my dad's clothes. The fit was horrible for a girl with hips and a butt, the fabric stiff, they gaped terribly at lower back--you could look down and see my undies. I am not bunching that fabric into my back to try and make them "fit" to avoid Plumber-Butt. Very unflattering. Sent them back.

I purchased two pairs of these shorts a few months apart. Both were purchased early this summer. I wore a pair every day all summer. I work on a tree farm. A lot of walking, a lot of being outside, but not an overly large amount of manual labor. Both pairs have split in the crotch. I know I'm not a skinny person, and I don't have a thigh gap (which isn't healthy or realistic anyways), but I expect my shorts to last more than 4-6 months. Both have worn down crotch area that are now split from wear and tear. I wish companies would start making women's clothing from the same material as men's. So frustrating.

Decent enough shorts. Heavy fabric, good pockets, long length. But for me, a very short rise (crotch to waist band) . Shorts fall at widest part of hip/belly. Very unflattering, made me look stubby. To go up in size would be to have legs and rear way too large. IMO- Best for 'thin thru the middle' women. Returned.

These are a comfortable fit and seem to be fairly true to size for relaxed fit. I’ve bought these before but lost some weight and needed some new shorts. I like the length of these and the pockets. My favorite is the side pocket my phone can fit into nicely. These are durable and great if looking for the longer length.

I bought these for work After the first wash, they had little strings hanging from them. But it wasn’t enough for me to return them until I wore wore them . They are very nice and true to size. but the material for being Dickies to me, is very cheap or flimsy.For the price of them, I expected better. The shorts did not fit me super tight. They fit like regular work shorts. But in the inner thighs with just one wear I can already feel the material thinning, and even had a little lint balls building up. I ended up returning these. I just expected better quality from this brand.
