I really love this tie, the color is vibrant, there are no loose threads, it is a standard size. It is a 'zipper-style' tie, however it doesn't have the actual zipper part, which is even better, as the zipper can snag and hang. This has a simple pull cord that's very smooth. I used to be a tie snob and would never wear a tie that I didn't actually tie myself but, as I get older (and probably lazier), I am shifting to these - especially when they don't have the actual zipper function on them. I have to say this is the nicest and smoothest functioning of all the non-traditional ties I have. There is one downside to the design of this tie however. In most ties, there is a 'flap' of fabric on the back, to 'tuck in' the excess of the tie. You'll note by their posted images, they do not show low enough to show that 'tuck-in flap.' That's because there isn't one. So the pull cords that you have hanging behind the tie just kind of flop around and pop out from behind the tie, so everyone can see your lazy butt got a zipper tie. It makes it look very unprofessional, and there's nothing you can do about it. Normally, I would use a tie clip in such a case, but the pull cords are so short, the tie clip would be up by your neck. You actually have to get crafty with hiding the pull cords. Other than that one minor issue, it is a really nice tie. I didn't use the cuff links or other junk with it but you certainly could. The pocket square might be the only thing to really bother with. For the cost, this is a great tie even by itself, being a set is an added bonus, if you use it.

Looking for a solid combo to finish off your fit? This is an excellent combo to fit your needs. Choose from a variety of styles. I picked up the red and black because I like the Paisley pattern. The tie itself is very nice quality. It isn't a traditional tie, nor is it technically a zipper tie. It tightens by pulling the loop on the back which operates on each side independently. This allows for a more precision fit, but the narrow loop doesn't give you the feel of a actual tie. Cuff links are my new favorite thing. I think they set off the outfit and I wear them whenever I'm dressing formal. These are basic, but they do the job. The knot matches the material of the tie and fits in perfectly. Pocket squares and lapel pins just help sell the look and give you flair in different areas of your outfit. They both complement the tie with matching fabric and color. The red just Pops. This is a great value set and I recommend for those who aren't looking strictly for the traditional tie set.

I love this tie. It's very easy to put on and take off and if you're careful will fool anyone not paying close attention that it's a regular tie (especially with the help of a tie clip). If you're NOT careful, the toggle on the backside can easily fall to the side and be a dead giveaway. The accessories it comes with match perfectly and dial up the style when utilized. Likes: + quality material + color / pattern is very nice + comes with matching accessories + easy to put on and take off + great price Dislikes: - toggle makes it clear it's a zipper tie - toggle is bulky and can fall to the side If you're looking for a quick and easy tie that will still impress, this one's for you. 4 / 5 Stars: Great Professional Buy

My sons next occasion to need a tie will probably be his spring concert for school. I didn’t even have to ask when I saw the “Lilac” color and ordered it immediately. Figured the worse that could happen is he didn’t like it…. Spoiler alert he loved it. I do as well. The cufflinks come across feeling a bit plastic, but they look nice. However, the fabric material of the tie and pocket square are genuinely nice. They not only look like decent but feel so as well. I hadn’t seen a zipper tie before. Its ease of use absolutely lives up to its name. It’s easy to adjust the fit so it looks great without constricting, the zipper seems to operate without issue. The set is available in many different colors and patterns. As mentioned, I ordered the “Lilac” It’s a dusty or light purple with a silverish accent, but the pictures don’t entirely do it justice. It has an iridescent sheen that is very eye-catching. I’m impressed it is a sharp distinctive looking tie (and set). I do not know if he will ever use the lapel pin of the cufflinks, but they are included. For the price the value is outstanding. Highly recommend.
