So, when it comes to sounds quality and noise reduction, these are by far the best ear buds I have ever owned. I love the sound and customization options. My big gripe about these is how they fit. I know this might be an individual thing, but to me, no matter which size ear you are and what matching insert piece you choose, they are not secure AT ALL. I REALLY wish I could wear these on a light run, workout, or even when eating for crying out loud. But unless I am sitting still, they easily pop out of my ear. My air pods fit far more secure. So do my JayBirds and a JBL earbud I tried. This is the one weakness that, if they fixed it, would make these perfect for me. Whether it’s a loop around the ear, some way to lock into the ear better, I don’t know, but the security of the fit just kinda sucks. Otherwise, I love these!

I'll start out by saying these are the best sounding earbuds I've heard, and I have compared them to Sony's wf1000xm4, Samsung's Galaxy buds pro, and a few more. In this review, I'll compare these mostly to the Sony earbuds since those are my favorites. Sound quality: They don't have quite as much thumping bass as Sony, but they are a lot more balanced. Every time I throw these on I'm blown away with the soundstage that these little buds produce. Again, they are definitely the best sound you will get from a pair of truly wireless earbuds. Nose cancelling: They have amazing noise cancelling. They aren't quite as good as the Sony earbuds, but those even come with foam ear tips and they create much more of a seal, so they trade a bit of the anc with some comfort, but the devialets still manage to block out about 85% of the noise Sony does. Comfort: WOW!! These are some of the most comfortable earbuds I've worn! Sometimes I forget they're even in my ears. To notch comfort and super light buds. Usability: This is where the earbuds fall short. When I first ordered a pair, the buds couldn't recognize if the case was closed or not, so they would sometimes stay on even when they were in the charging case with the case closed. On top of that, they were a bit tricky to connect to the app. I contacted the seller and got a replacement no problem and that fixed the charging case issue. The connection, however, is still a problem. Mostly, a lot of the time the app doesn't even recognize the buds are connected, so you can't access the equalizer or anything else. Plus, switching between devices is tricky and kind of finicky. Conclusion: Top quality sound, anc, and comfort! If the usability issues were fixed, I could have easily recommended these to any of my friends! But sadly the issues stand, and even I sometimes notice myself grabbing a different pair of earbuds purely for convenience. If you are someone who just wants the best sound and is willing to deal with minor inconveniences, I would recommend these highly. However, if you are someone who just wants a pair of earbuds to bring around everyday and needs them to be connected to multiple devices, I would recommend looking somewhere else. Overall though, I love these :)

Previously, I had no no idea Devialet had anything to do with wireless earbuds. I had seen their flagship Phantom speaker setup (which is unique) but I did not know what to expect. Since their home speakers seem to be highly rated, I decided to try these out…I’m so excited and happy that I did because the Active Noise Cancelling is amazing. It’s something that I was not expecting because the AirPods Pro that I have generally perform the best out of most of the wireless earbuds that I’ve tried but these work even better…like a LOT better. I am not sure if it is maybe due to a better ear canal seal on the Devialet or if it is due to the technology that these pack in that supposedly adjust the sound based on how well the tips fit. I’m not sure why these cancel noise so well, I just love it. The bottom line? These have excellent ANC. I’d recommend checking these out for that alone but the sound quality is great as well. Battery life is the only thing that I’d want to improve because while it isn’t terrible, I find that AirPods Pro lasts a bit longer. Sound: The soundstage on these are excellent! Whether I listen to music such as hip hop, rap, alternative, classical, or if I listen to audiobooks or podcasts, these perform admirably. They have good bass but not too muddy, great highs but not overly bright, better than adequate mids, and they have an EQ to allow you to change it to suit your personal preferences. These do not disappoint in any form or fashion for me. ANC: the active noise cancellation is excellent! I’m able to put these in and turn on ANC and the window air conditioner noise is completely gone. That impressed me more than anything. The only way to get a bit better ANC for me is to use over the ears headphones. These are WAY more portable and I’m seriously excited. Fit: These come with a lot of earbud tips and accoutrements. They have a good charging cable (USB-C) and they feel great in my ears. The only bit of downside is that sometimes I feel as though one might fall out (but it does not). Battery life: Battery life is good but not great. I think I get 5 to 6 hours at somewhat higher volume with ANC on medium. This is good but for the MSRP I wish it was just a bit longer. These do charge quickly. Call Quality: Calls have gone very well with these for me as I’ve used them on zoom calls. People can hear me well and I don’t have to speak up a lot in order to have them hear me. Etc: These look amazing and are cool (personal preference). It’s funny because they seem to favor the design of the Devialet Phantom speakers. I like the look a lot and I’m glad these don’t stick out far (but would look cool if they did). Additionally, the touch controls work very well for me and you can change what the touch controls do in the Devialet app. Overall: Overall, these are well-made, look amazing, sound amazing, and they block out a lot of noise. Call quality is great for me and these can bump hip hop or sound great when I listen to an audiobook. I love versatility and these are just that. With that said, the versatility does come at a higher MSRP. I’m impressed with these and love them.
