Ok, this backpack is super adorable and well made. I purchased for my 5 yr old who is 43 in tall. I believe it is an appropriate size for her but it may be a bit small to hold her 8x11 folder, a change of clothes and anything her school might send home. It will hold an 8x11 folder for sure. You can even for the change of clothing inside, possible a very small sandwich container but it’s going to be tight. If the teacher is responsible for putting things inside this bag, it’s doable but won’t be the quickest. If your child is responsible for putting things in this bag please expect for the items to be scrunched, possible torn because it won’t be as easy for little hands to k ow how to organize with such a small space. I will try it with my 5 yr old first to see how she does but in the meantime I’ve ordered a backup backpack that is a little bigger On the fence about returning. It’s just so cute.

We love these backpacks! We have the blue one too. Nice size yet easy for toddlers to carry. Has a nice pouch for a tablet, handy water bottle holder. Colors are bright and vibrant. Such a fun and useful item.

This backpack is adorable. It’s good quality. The buckle and pinch pull string might be difficult for 2-3 year to work with. Also, it’s too small. Difficult to put a regular 8x11 folder for preschool. This school bag is good travel but not school.

I was going to return it but changed my mind, my toddler wants to wear it and loves it. It is smaller than I expected. This backpack supposed to be 8L and its smaller than 6L bag we have. It measures 8.5"×2"x12" if it helps anyone, I measured the back. There is no reason for me to give less than 5 starts just because it's smaller than I expected because it's made very well, it is super cute (we got green one for a 2 year boy), and it fits perfectly on my 3 ft tall 2 year old. It fits so well, he doesn't want to take it off. I wish there was a better size description, like in inches, to help with an idea of its dimensions.

A great first backpack for a toddler. My 2.5 year old son loves using it to pack for grandma's. It doesn't fit a ton, but it holds his hot wheels and snacks, which is enough for him.

Our daughter goes to pre-school and has to bring her items in her own backpack. In the first year of school we went through three fairly cheap backpacks, maybe $20 or so. Each would only last a month or so until a strap broke or seam ripped. We got sick of trying to repair them only to have something else break so decided to spend a little more money on a quality backpack. We decided on this one because of the fun design but also brand name we could trust. It has held up well for over a year now and shows not signs of wear other than the dirt she has got on it. Highly recommend!

I got this for my son when we went on a trip to carry his new entertainment goodies! He loved carrying it by himself! He now wears it to preschool and it fits his extra set of clothes and random things he might need for preschool. It is so super cute and I cannot get over how cute he is wearing it!!!!
