  • ATHEON, BUT YOU BUILD HIM!
Awesome gift for a Destiny 2 fan!

  • Vault of Glass on a cuter, smaller and super detailed scale!!
Being an avid, passionate Destiny player, I lost it when I initially read that Mega Bloks was releasing Destiny collections using Bungie's latest and greatest liscence. And what makes Destiny great, at least to me, are the memories forged with best Friends and fellow community Guardians while shooting through Destiny's world, most notably Raids. The second Atheon arrived at my door, I got crackin' putting him together. And I gotta say, all of my fondest memories came back as his arms, legs and chest were put together. That's when you know Bungie did something right. And so did Mega Bloks. First and foremost, this isn't that well known and poorly conceived Mega Bloks quality from 4+ years ago. Improvements to their minifigures show in spades and are up to date with Halo 5 and Call of Duty levels of detail and poseability. What's great is how well all of the permutations work on such a small scale. I have multiple Hunters and two Warlocks (counting the one included here) and I love all of the small nooks and crannies; no detail is lost when our Guardians are shrunk down to an inch and three quarters. The Warlock build/design is easily the best in my opinion and his coat looks spectacular. Here we have a New Monarchy Samsara build with Praedyth's Revenge as a weapon. You also get a Supplicant from the Vault of Glass, as well as the centerpiece, Atheon. At first, I was expecting him to be a little bigger, considering how many times I went through Vault of Glass, while also compared to K'Nex TItanfall mechs. He stands at a lean 7ish inches and looks phenomenal considering how he is comprised of translucent blue Mega Bloks pieces. Again, Mega Bloks did a fine job at such a cool liscence. I'm proud to have him on my shelf!! As you can tell by my glowing review, I really love this miniature representation of Atheon. Destiny fanboyism aside, these sets are very well done and I look forward to collecting the rest of what I need as well as what is in store. If I were to find one complaint, it's that Mega Bloks really knows how to sell to collectors. If you want exclusive Destiny characters/gear/weapons, you have to buy deluxe sets like the Spider Tank (which comes with Gjallahorn and a Hunter with a Cape and Crest of Alpha Lupi) or the Cabal Interceptor (Which comes with a Pandion styled TItan and a Titan Mark). With that said, I love this set. The diehard fan gives this a five star review. If you're completely new or unfamiliar with Destiny, I'd give this four stars. ... show more

  • Fun to keep the imagination
My son loves these Destiny toys. Its a bit pricey for me but he's very imaginative so its worth buying to keep that going. I've always been a fan with figurines and their little tiny weapons. I definitely wouldn't buy this to children that like putting things in their mouths, and I have a 5 year old who isn't allowed in my 9 year olds room because of the many tiny objects Destiny or Halos come with. I would recommend your child placing them above a tall dresser. ... show more

  • Excellent poseability, very creative use of transparent pieces
While the "Torch-Hammer" (weapon on the large figure's right arm) is a little flimsy in its construction and the 'eye' piece had some excess resin on the base that damages its display value, this kit offers a faithful recreation an iconic Destiny boss encounter for a very reasonable price. Excellent poseability, very creative use of transparent pieces, and despite external appearances, the entire 'model' is built up from individual parts rather than using larger moulds, which should satisfy the builder / hobby enthusiast throughout the construction process. ... show more

  • Good product
All the pieces came in the package, but about two of the pieces that clip into one another broke when putting it together. I do not blame the seller, but the material made for this was not the greatest.

  • I like this Mega Blocks series
I like this Mega Blocks series. I am a big fan of Destiny, and I like the detail and the the way looks when assembled. However, I do not think it makes a good toy for a kid. This is more like a model, it does not bend or move very well without falling apart. I otherwise appreciate this toy as a model anyway. ... show more

  • Pretty good with a few minor flaws.
I first want to say the little vex that comes with him is a supplicant, not a harpy. There's a big difference. Onto Atheon, he's really cool looking when finished but my only problem is his joints. They don't turn like they naturally would and his arms come off way too easily. But altogether, is really worth the price. ... show more

  • Where da titans at?!
Mega construx did an amazing job with the whole destiny line. This guy looks great. A bit fragile for regular play. More of a display piece (extremely posable). But regardless a phenomenal build for both Destiny fans and Mega fans.
