Not stiff denim and a bit thin, but so comfortable. Good amount of stretch. I have ZERO butt, ordered a size 13 as I run between 10-12 in big box stores. Should have ordered 11, as a matter of fact they were still so good I ordered another pair a size smaller. I will keep the 13 and wear a belt. Only warning is the inseam length. I am 5'6" and I wish they were about an inch longer. That is it. First of all, let me say, that I am pretty hard core when it comes to reviewing items and do not give high ratings very often at all. I would give these more than 5 stars if possible. I have a really, really, really hard time finding jeans to fit me. I have very skinny legs and am only 5'1" and basically have no butt or hips. Based on reviews I read, I decided to take a chance and order online. Amazon has such a nice return system, I figured it would be no big deal to return if needed. I purchased a size 11 and they are awesome. They are slim fit through the hips and thigh and then flare out from the knee down. They are a true bootcut, not bell bottom, which is what I was looking for. I normally wear Medium, 8-10. I will be ordering some more of these since it is so hard to find jeans to fit. They are lighter weight than a true Levi's type jeans and they do have a little stretch. They are very long and I will have to hem them, but I have to do that to every single pair of pants that I buy, so no big deal. If you are on the fence about ordering, just do it.     • Sits on the hip if you are high waisted.

If I really pull on them, I can get them to sit over the top of my hips (Which is about the same height as my belly button", and they are then just a tad lose (bunchy with a belt) in the waistband. Beside that and being snug in the rump and thighs, they are about perfect.

There was a very strong smell to these jeans. I am normally between a 3 and 4 and these were oddly short. I feel like after 1 wash they would shrink. They are being returned.
