I was searching for a new sunscreen for my sensitive skin, and this is exactly what I wanted! It has a light scent to it, but otherwise, it is lightweight and soaks into the skin easily. It hasn't made me break out or irritated my skin at all. I also tend to get pretty oily from sunscreens- I get a tad bit oily in my T-zone, but it's not nearly as bad compared with other sunscreens I have tried. I’ve always used physical sunscreen because regular sunscreen burns my eyes. I’ve always found the white cast annoying and tinted versions would coat my eyebrows and cause them to look faded.     • Thicker consistency, slightly greasy
Sun protection is definitely the most important part of skincare routines and for me, this sunscreen was just not it. First off, dermalogica is a really great brand and I love their serums. But this sunscreen overall was just mid for me. I don't like putting on sunscreen so sheerness is KEY. This sunscreen was definitely on the thicker side and ultimately left a white cast. Zinc oxide is a great ingredient because it's safer for the reefs but this one just left a layer on my skin that I didn't really like on my face. I ultimately used this on my body when I went to the beach. But even then, after showering, I could still feel the residue on me. The scent was pretty nice; not too strong of a "sunscreen" smell but it definitely had one. So if you are not into fragrance, this would not be for you. And finally, the most important part (well for me), the price, This tube was about $50 after taxes. For the price and performance of this sunscreen, I had to take away a couple stars. It leaves your skin white and doesn’t feel very light. Hope they manufacture more options for people seeking protection against blue light.

I bought this looking for sunacreen for my face and it has even lightened some sun damaged spots. I was very impressed with it! Since I have only been using on my face it is lasting for a while - Will definitely get another bottle!

    • Okay replacement for the Solar Defense
It's an okay replacement for the Solar Defense Booster Dermalogica discontinued. It does work as a great sunscreen. But, kinda heavy feeling on my face. Will use this for now but will be looking for something else similar to the Solar Defense I can add to my daily moisturizer.
