I bought the Silent St. and it is amazing smell. It is kinda like "clean" smell but not like laundry, more feminine smell, not sweet at all. The only downside is that it doesn't last so much. You cannot compare this to 200$ perfume. If I spray it in the morning I can still smell it 4-5 hours later but the next day the smell is gone for sure. I actually tried spraying it in my hair, and my hair smelled very nice even the next day. So if you are looking for very gentle feminine smell I would definitely recommend. At first spray, it has a very baby powdery scent which I don't like but eventually that does fade after 20 mins and the scent left is a very smokey and then sweet scent. Think campfire and marshmallows! I wish it was a little more sweet than smokey tbh as the smokey scent is a little more prominent. It does last a decent amount of time as well. ... show more

This is my new favorite, and I have been searching since D&G Feminine was discontinued a few years ago! It is very complex - soft and musky but clean and fresh at the same time, and although the body mist doesn't have much lasting power, as you'd expect, the solid and eau de parfum both have great longevity. The scent was not what I expected from the described profile, but I do admit it does remind me of an early evening rain (but if you are from Arizona it is not reminiscent of our monsoons). That being said, I was very disappointed by both the application and the longevity, or lack there of, of the scent itself throughout the day. The spray itself is more like a squirt, which might have contributed to how quickly the scent dissipated. I feel like if the spray was more of a mist similar to other perfumes then the scent could have covered a much larger area on my wrists. Using this perfume bottle will lead to using more product. The scent does not last, either. I wear a FitBit everyday and almost all of my other perfumes will cling to it for days on end. I could not smell this particular scent anywhere on my arm by the end of a work day. I love Derek Lam scents and had high hopes. Honestly, I was excited to get it. And, it is okay. I just did not expect it to have as much of a "powdery" scent. So, if you like powdery, I would definitely recommend. I just personally don't love powdery scents.
