I grabbed these to add a little green on a shelf and they work well. Setup took a few minutes: push the leaves on, bend the stems into place, and set the pots. The white containers with glossy pebbles look clean and once they are on a bookcase or bathroom counter they pass for real. Size is right and both plants fill out more than I expected. I trimmed a couple small plastic bits for a cleaner look and I would like a little more variety in the leaves. Check the box on arrival just in case, but mine came fine. For the price these do exactly what I needed with zero upkeep. Solid value

This is my first time assembling an artificial plant, and the concept is pretty interesting. You get the stems, prepotted in a pot with lifelike wet look rocks, and the leaves are separate. Overall, the plants assembled a little larger than I expected, and just the right size for a bathroom shelf. The overall look is fairly convincing, and the wet look rocks do a lot to contribute to that. I have other lower quality artificial plants in the house, and you can clearly tell the difference - in part because of the nicer material of these for the leaves, but largely because the wet look rocks look way more natural than plastic soil. I did have to trim some plastic bits on the stems which break the illusion a bit, but they are quick and easy to get with a pair of nail clippers. Similarly, there are two sets of leaves per plant, and the design between all leaves in each set is the same. Having two patterns and base colors helps with variety, but I would have liked to see a touch more variation for a more natural look. That said, at the current list price of $15, I think the overall level of detail and the quality of the plants themselves is pretty high. As a longer term project, I may do a little light painting or test out some different coverings to get them feeling really lifelike. Overall, I’d say this is a good value.

I got these plants for my office and home because I can barely keep real plants alive, but I still want some greenery around. As you can see in the pictures, they come with the leaves off and you add them however you want. You don't think it's going to be that full looking, but by the time you get the last leaf on, it really is and looks very nice. You can tell up close that they're not real, but sitting on top of a bookcase or in an office window, they can pass for real. The size is accurate to the description and about right compared to a real caladium except the only thing you have to worry about with these is cleaning the leaves every so often so they don't collect dust. They come with pots and the fake soil and stones are glued down, so no mess if you need to move them or they tip over. For the price ($14.99 when I ordered) this is a great value! 5 Stars

These little fake plants are exactly what I needed to add a pop of green to my home without the stress of keeping something alive. I have one on my living room buffet table and the other on my office desk—both look great in their simple white pots and give a fresh, tropical vibe. The leaves are vibrant and realistic enough to pass as real at a glance, and the pebbles on top add a nice touch. They're the perfect size for small spaces and don’t scream "I'm fake!" from across the room. If you’re decor-challenged (or just tired of watching plants die slowly), these are a solid win.

I was surprised by the fake tropical potted plants from the Der Rose Store. When you open the box, there is a white pot filled with shiny glued-in rocks with gangly plastic stems sticking out. After attaching the leaves by simply pushing the ends of the stems into the leaves' open-ended "veins", the plant really comes to life. On one plant, I spent three minutes and 20 seconds attaching leaves, then bending the stems to my liking. The set does not come with instructions. The leaves are different colors, and I realized after assembly that I should have put the darker leaves on the bottom with the lighter ones at the top, as that would have been more realistic. The plants look cute from afar.

The listing was clear that I'd need to assemble these plants once they arrived, although I managed to forget that in between ordering and receiving. 😂 Whoops! They were really simple to assemble, however. The rocks are glued in place, the stems are quite flexible and easy to bend, and the leaves go on tightly/securely. I like that the leaves include a variety of colors, kind of like you'd find in real plants. And the look good in the dark corners of my living room.
