First I doubt it this will be straight forward installation but turn out it's completely exactly and fit as OEM part, I install on my 2015 tacoma.

So far works as advertised in 2005 Tacoma V6. However, even though I'm quite handy & probably could replace this myself (saving hundreds of dollars), unfortunately, I don't have ALL the proper tools to install it as directed. Thought I could get by doing it myself, but after reading directions upon receiving it it was obvious I needed a real mechanic to prevent voiding the warranty. Was easy to install. I have always had faith with Denso products.

    • Good "after market" part but it requires another switch and wire harness.
I really like Denso parts because they are OEM parts. However, this compressor is not a "plug in and play" part. I installed it and the compressor would not run properly. A long story made short is I did everything possible to it and finally gave in and took it to Toyota. The mechanic there said it can be used for replacement but it required another switch and wire harness to make it work in lieu of a Toyota OEM compressor. They charge me $600 to install the wiring and switch and also flushed the entire system. They also found a slug of AC "LEAK" sealant when they flushed it which helped cause the high output pressure. ... show more
