This is the second CF we've gone through in a year. The first one literally exploded into 2 pieces and broke. We thought it was a fluke. This one, my son fouled off an outside pitch and the bat is now dead. (insert eyeroll). For as much as they charge for these bats, they need to be better quality. It's been well cared for and stored. Bat cracked after approximately 2 months. I have two kids playing travel ball and I've actually never had a bat crack until now. My oldest son has this same bat (lower drop), and got it around the same time as his younger brother, and so far his is fine. However, looking at the DeMarini website reviews, I'm not the only one that has had this issue with the 2022 CF. I'm starting a warranty claim. We'll see how it goes and I'll update this review accordingly. UPDATE: The warranty process was pretty straightforward. Fill out the form online, wait for response, and then ship the bat. It cost me just over $30 to ship, and the customer has to eat that. There is no reimbursement for shipping, which is unfortunate. They were quick to evaluate the bat and deemed it covered under warranty. They sent a voucher via e-mail for the original purchase price, to be used at either the DeMarini site or the Louisville Slugger site. I will upgrade my original review to two stars because of the efficient warranty process. The fact remains, however, that I shouldn't have had to use it after only two months of ownership. ... show more

Bats looks nice but it broke in half when used in my sons first game. He had only used in 3 times and only had it for 2 weeks.
