  • Poor quality junk.
Color: Chrome
The media could not be loaded. What a poor quality piece of junk from a once-respected manufacturer. 1. As you can see from photo the right handle is noticeably out of line with the left. I assumed this would be easy to correct so I took an Allen wrench and took the handle off assuming I could reposition it correctly. Imagine my annoyance when I discovered that this is impossible! The stem does not have any means of making minor corrections in position. 2. Leaks from the popup lift gland. 3. The popup lift arm does not align correctly so you have to tweak it to get it to reseat when done using the stopper. 4. Directions are printed in tiniest imaginable type and illustrations are so small as to be useless. 5. Popup retainer clip does not work. I’ve tried and tried everything. Now presently held in place with a clothespin until I can get better quality part. 6. Install was by licensed plumber so none of this is some ignorant consumer spouting off. As I paid a lot of money for the installation I’ll be a loser even we’re I to remove it, clean it off and return for refund. 7. Even worse! After a couple of days this piece of junk started leaking internally! See video. Avoid this poor quality junk product. ... show more

  • Flawed design and inaccurate descripton
Color: Chrome
I bought two of these Delta faucets and hired a plumber to install them. Had I not been paying the plumber $125 and hour I would have gone out and purchased different ones. But they're in now and they seem to work fine. Here are my reactions: 1. The Amazon description was incorrect. It describes this unit has including a "pop up drain" but it is not what most people would think, i.e., a drain in the basin of the sink with a button or something like that which one would push to have the drain open and push down on the drain to close. This unit has the traditional drain with a lever rod that you push down and up. (Rods can break over time, as has happened to us, and when that happens you have to remove the old drain and redo it.) Had I known this, I would not have purchased it. I called Delta and what most people think of us a pop up drain is something Delta calls "push pop." 2. The design of the drain rod is flawed.. It has a notch in the faucet that the drain rod has to fit into so it can be fully depressed but in pushing down on the rod it almost never aligns with the notch so you have to play with it and jiggle it to get the notch in the rod handle into the groove for the notch on the faucet itself. Very aggravating for a new faucet. Had I known this, I would not have purchased it. 3. I got chrome but would have gotten brushed nickle had I known how much the chrome faucet shows water marks and finger prints. Not a deal breaker. 4. They say it's easy to install but I'm glad I had the plumber do it because it was a bear to remove the old faucets where the nuts had frozen and the plumber ended up sawing them off and in one bathroom removing the wall sink so he could get at the nut to saw. So if you have an older house like ours and your faucets have been in for a long time, test how easily you can remove the old faucets before you decide to do it yourself and be prepared for some removal issues if the old faucet won't disconnect easily. Once the old faucet was removed this Delta installation was pretty straightforward but the supply line was too long and the plumber had to cut it. In your case you may be able to loop the supply line but we could not because we had wall sinks with no pedestals or cabinet to hide the loops. ... show more

  • DEFECTIVE - THEY LEAK!
Color: Stainless
DEFECTIVE PRODUCT. DO NOT BUY!!! After installing two of these in our double master sinks, we noticed water dripping into our vanity drawers. After investigating, it turned out that when water is splashed on the faucets, it leaks under the handle, down the valve assembly into the vanity. When I called Delta customer service I was told that the faucet is not made to have water splashed on it and there was nothing wrong with it. I demanded a second opinion and after ten minutes on hold, was told that their bathroom faucets are definitely not waterproof and not meant to have water splashed on them. Being told not to splash water on a bathroom faucet?! Seriously, Delta? When I called our plumber and told him, after he stopped laughing he said "Next time buy Moen. They're the only company that stands behind their products." Bye, Delta! ... show more

  • Sleek, modern faucet
Color: Matte Black
We recently purchased a new home which had chrome fixtures in the bathrooms. We bought the Delta Faucet 2564-BLMPU-DST in matte black to update the powder room (along with other matte black fixtures, mirror and light) and it completely updated the space! We loved it so much I actually bought another one for the basement batroom. We would have purchased this as a wideset for the upstairs bathrooms as well but they are a lot more expensive compared to the centerset. Either way, the quality is great and I would highly recommend. ... show more
