I was originally delighted after putting together this bed and looking at the possibilities for conversion into a toddler bed, then child's bed. The bed is quite pretty. The color is very pleasing. It didn't take a lot of time to put together, and the bed feels sturdy (as in, when I try to shake it, it feels quite solid. However, days later when i put the mattress in, the mattress apparently caught on the wood somehow and ripped a splinter of the wood out (see attached photo). This did not occur earlier. There were no rough edges on the mattress. Literally, putting the mattress into the crib caused this to happen. I now have to go find some wood repair tools to make sure my baby doesn't get a splinter from where this thing cracked. This is very, very disappointing in what would otherwise be a nice purchase. I'm leaving a three-star review to convey a mix of the good qualities (esthetics, ease of assembly) and unacceptable ones (splintering from friction with a mattress during the initial mattress placement). I think if you buy this product, keep in mind that all actions around it (putting it together, installing the mattress) should be done very cautiously. Of course, I don't know how I could have been more cautious gently lowering a mattress into it... Update: Contacted the company, and they sent me a new replacement piece. Much appreciated. We do daycare for our granddaughter who is now 4 years old. I recently converted the crib to the full double bed and skipped the in between day bed step. She loves her new "big girl's bed". FYI, upon conversion/assembly, I did not feel that the slats provided were adequate amount of support, so I cut about 4 additional slats out of some Douglas Fir 1"x4" boards from Home Depot. ... show more

I love this crib. It is absolutely beautiful. We bought it in black. It arrived in a timely manner. Though the box was damaged, nothing inside the box was affected. Went together in no time and I was able to completely assemble without husband's assistance. However, the springs on the mattress support have started breaking, 6 so far, all on one side. I have been in contact with the manufacturer and was asked to e-mail pictures. Now, I'm waiting to hear back from Delta. Apparently you cannot just buy individual replacement springs for this item. We had no problems with this crib until now, and it was bought in February. Will update after my dealings with the manufacturer. It is still under warranty, so hopefully it will go smoothly. Update: Within a few hours of contacting Delta and sending the pictures they requested, they contacted me to let me know that they do not have just the mattress support and will be sending us a whole new crib, just send back the broken pieces, which they are paying to ship. ... show more

Loved it as a crib, but the first nap with toddler gate up, my daughter’s foot got stuck and she howled in pain. For some reason the distance between the bars in the gate are smaller than that in the rest of the crib. Disappointed that I had to order a different barrier on Amazon. This crib is fabulous! I bought the Cherry Espresso color and it looks so elegant in my baby's nursery. When we purchased the crib, I was 8 months pregnant and was able to help put it together. Very easy assembly. After being put together, it feels very sturdy. Now that my daughter is 1 year-old, it is still very sturdy every with all the bouncing around she does. The frame supporting the mattress is metal and is very sturdy. There are three different height settings on this crib. We used the highest setting for when our daughter was an infant, and once she could stand, we moved it to the lowest one. She can jump around without me fearing she will fall out. I did put a rail guard on the front because my daughter likes to chew :) The price of this crib was also great. I looked at many cribs in retail stores but they were very expensive and not what I was looking for. I was so happy to find this one here and am still satisfied with the purchase. After a lot of research, we decided to purchase this crib for our Baby. Pros: 1. Crib is made up of wood, which is good and sturdy. 2. Color of the crib is exactly as pictured. 3. Looks like it’ll last for a long period of time. 4. Crib received with no damage. Cons: The assembling instructions was not very clear. Could improve on that. Stay away from ANY Delta Children product. Their customer service is non existent. I purchased this crib for my daughter. 3 months before her birth. We assembled the crib and realized that the mattress support was not the right part. The serial number didn't match the instructions and it didn't fit. It was too small. We have an assembled crib but no mattress support. We called the number provided for Delta Children. They won't answer the phone and will only communicate via email...fair enough. I followed the instructions and put in a ticket for replacement in early Jan 2022. I received an automated email back saying they will be gone for Labor Day and will be back in the office on Sept 9th, 2021...wtf!! Clearly no one had the common sense to updated their automated email reply. It's been 3 weeks and no one has emailed us back. We are willing to just purchase the right part for the crib but it's not possible. We had to put in a new ticket through the Delta Children website. We received the same automated email about Labor day. We have a partially built crib and no way to return it or get the right part. I will have to purchase a new crib before my daughter is born. I will NEVER purchase anything from Delta Children again. AWFUL AWFUL experience!!!!! ... show more
