I wasn't sure if I'd like this style of wallet so I went with a budget option. It grew on me quickly and I've used it daily for about 2 years. Overall it's been great, but I'm about to replace it because the finish has become very scratched up and it looks pretty poor now. Going with a different brand and carbon fiber in hopes it'll be a more scratch resistant finish.

I was looking for a way to slim down my wallet and I have several recommendations to get a ridge wallet. I was uncertain about doing so since I'd only used traditional wallets before. So instead I bought this to see how it went. And this thing is great, it does take some getting used to when selecting the right card with these types of wallets but after you fiddle with it its not as bad as you'd think. Definitely recommend this over the ridge wallet as this is significantly cheaper for a great quality item. Only complaint is I wish they rounded off the edges or something, they aren't sharp by any means but would be slightly nicer to hold. All round great product

Easy to use. Money clip can hold a lot of cash. Card holder section easily hold over a dozen cards. The little notch on the bottom let you push the cards out with your finger. If it lasts I can see using this style of money clip indefinitely. I think the negative reviews come from people who never used a money clip that held credit cards too. I was using a leather money clip that had three pockets you could stuff in your credit cards. This expandable aluminum credit card holder with money clip is far more robust.

I love that it is small enough to fit my front pocket. I hate carrying a traditional wallet in hot weather. The cards are a little tricky to get out, but not really more than my last wallet. It holds 8 cards/ids easily. It looks like it could hold over a dozen. The only issue I could see people having is the size is roughly the same as a credit card. It does not hold photos - but who has those since cell phones became prevalent?

I bought this for my husband for Christmas because he was tired of the normal bulky wallet. He loves it! It’s slim, fits easily into any pocket and he’s able to keep his cards and money safe and secure. It is a little tough to get the cards out at first until you are used to popping them up but he has been using it for a little over a week and he’s figured out the trick.
