The urn is absolutely gorgeous and perfect. It's made from real marble with subdued grey marbeling and is very heavy. The engraved customized metal plate is highly polished. I must say after a very emotional year, this was such a blessing to me. I wanted to lay my Granny to rest in a way that was sturdy, safe and beautiful. This urn is stunning. The name plate was much larger than I imagined and it shines like glass in the light. The marble is heavy and you "feel" like your loved one is safe from the elements. We did place her in the ground, but I know she is encased and I am at peace. I will recommend this company to anyone looking for a peaceful rest for their family.
