This little drone is awsome. Easy to set up, simple and stable flight, and in the high speed very fast for its size. It came with an extra battery for extended playtime. The camera has a very good picture quality and linked with the app and my phone (samsung a13 running android 13) first try flawlessly with no lag or choppyness at all. All around better than even expected, i would recomend this for anybody looking to learn drone flying. Great quality and the price was nice.     • Fun drone for beginners!
This drone is very cool for what you’re paying for. I love that it folds up which makes it very compact. It is pretty easy to learn. Once you figure everything out. I would definitely recommend this for young teens or adults. It does have good camera quality, but it is a little choppy in the app. Overall it’s a decent drone for the price and the customer service is absolutely amazing. ... show more

It's a pretty good drone. I don't really know what to say about it, but it functions as it should for the most part and I don't have a problem with it. Buy it for yourself and if you don't like it, you can always return it

    • Don’t waste your money
Bought this on Prime Days and saved $25. After only 2 weeks, one exchange for a working drone, and about 20 flights, I’d say that I wasted $25. 1 of the 4 motors is failing and the drone flails like a wounded duck. Funny how this happened just after the return window closed. Piece a crap.

    • Wanted to have fun with the kids.
My grandkids are having a lot of fun with this. The order got lost in shipment but was NOT the fault of Deerc. UPS sent it on the wrong truck. Tracking was good and I wasn't upset because those things happen. Set up was easy, and after downloading the app, it connected to my phone easily. Just follow the instruction! Took a bit for the kids to catch on and I recommend you fly it outside until you get used to it. Best money I've spent on the kids in a long time. I may even get another. ... show more

    • The best bang for buck drone on the market
The media could not be loaded. I grew up building rc cars and have spent most of my life tinkering/playing with rc. That said,this was my first ever endeavor into the world of drones...of even flight for that matter! The d40 was a breeze to pick up right out of the box. Setup is simple,instructions are easy to read and the app is easy to navigate. The drone itself is small but sturdy. Within minutes I was flying around the inside of my house and by the second battery I was outside shooting video from above the trees. The drone was great! It had a great camara, with simple controls, and it was easy to use. Unfortunately, there was a high wind that I did not anticipate, and the drone started flying away at great speeds. The drone crashed into a tree, and I have unable to bring it back down.     • Great Drone Could've Been Better
This a great little drone for beginners but indoors only. If you were to fly it outdoors the slightest hint of wind will carry it away. The remote controller, like some others, will not securely hold your phone but works well other than that. The drone connects to wireless very easily and the camera works well but cannot be adjusted to a different angle remotely. Manual adjustment only. No biggie for me at this price point. I would suggest that novice pilots install the included rotor blade guards! Why did I only rate it at only 3 stars? Batteries. The drone comes with 2 batteries but they'll only give you a maximum of 7 flight minutes each on low speed with limited maneuvering. The manufacturer claims 10 minutes of flight time per battery. I can only imagine 10 minutes if I were to start the rotors spinning but never leave the ground. Okay, so let's get some more batteries. You can't. As of this writing neither the manufacturer or third parties offer replacement batteries for this particular drone. The Deerc D60 drone has a battery that could have easily been used in the D40. That battery provides 20 minutes flight time on what is a larger unit than the D40. And you CAN buy replacements/spares. This is why I dinged the D40 2 stars. If not for the battery compliant I would have give this drone 5 stars. If replacement/spare batteries were available I would have given it 4 stars. This is a great little flyer but for a total of 14 minutes flight time you'll have to wait 90 minutes for battery recharge! ... show more
