I bought these TEN DAYS AGO. Thinking they would be a good fit for me as a bartender on their feet for 10-13 hours a day, I assumed these would be a great bargain. I had read good and bad reviews but decided to try my luck. Boy, was I in for a rude awakening. The day I got them, the shoes were absolutely gorgeous. Shiny, polished, and form fitting, I went into work. After only 8 hours in these shoes, I already felt loosening on the sides. I do not wear these outside of my workplace (I have a separate pair of sneakers I wear on the train/street while I commute to work) I figured they were just adjusting to their normal size. Again, I was proven incorrect when I worked two shifts back to back, after two days off. 12 hours each. The shoes, continuing to loosen as I walked, left a massive blister on the side of my foot which is still healing, but I had to still call out for a day because of my inability to walk. Whatever soles were used to make these shoes wore out on the 5th or 6th day. Now it just feels like I’m walking on slightly cushioned cement. The ONLY positive thing I can say is that the non slip sole truly does work. I work in an Italian restaurant behind the bar, so there is no shortage of liquid/olive oil on the BOH floor at any time. These shoes did allow me to walk over any spillage with ease and without the fear of breaking my neck. A small, yet pointless win in an otherwise terribly manufactured pair of shoes. Please consider sketchers (I know, kids brand, right?) but the quality of the shoe last me 8-9 months (a long time for a bartender) and the cushioning was absolutely terrific.

Working on standing all the time requires a good quality shoes. I bought this pair of Deer Stags Manager shoes as a replacement from my previous model alike but different brand that last enough at least a year having no issues at all. So far they’re good quality shoes, comfortable, lightweight, good width, easy to putting on and off the foot, the insole is good, waterproof, they are not 100% slip resistant, because I’ve been using them for 2 weeks and can feel when walking over water they slipped a bit and makes me walks with caution. The price is in relation to the quality of product I got, they are made with synthetic leather which is really easy to clean while working and at the end of the day leaving them ready for the next day.

There aren’t the most comfortable shoes I’ve owned but they aren’t the worst. They are pretty good for the money. My main criticism is that the back of the shoes aren’t rigid enough and when I put them on it gets pushed down underneath my foot and needs to be pulled back up every time. They also seem to be wearing fairly quickly but I’m admittedly pretty tough on shoes so I’d say they are reasonably well made considering the price. —- Follow up after a month of use —- I’ve been using these shoes daily for the past month and they are already starting to fall apart. The sole under the heels has basically collapsed making them rather uncomfortable to walk in given there is almost nothing but a thin piece of rubber between the bottom of my heels and the ground.

The shoe looks nice. However, I ordered the wide and it's too tight on my feet. This wide is not as wide as my other ones. While it's labeled that it's wide, it feels like it's not wide at all or not wide enough. This of course makes it uncomfortable and unwarable. I have the same pair of shoes that I bought at Payless a couple of years ago and I was trying to replace them. I no longer see these shoes offered on Payless otherwise I would have gone there . And those are the same size as the ones I ordered here. However the one here or just too tight but overall the quality of the shoes and nice shoe. Please get the size right!
