So it's time to buy new shoes. I look through my previous orders and I find these. I loved these shoes! Maybe...I should just break these out again... Well I did, I immediately remember why they were hidden in the bottom of the closet. The memory foam insert had slip from the heel and bunched up in the toes. What was a great shoe, was now and apparently was then very uncoomfortable to wear, but I had a solution. I went and bought some very nice inserts, it was ONLY THEN when I realized why these shoes needed MORE GLUE! Seriously, take a look at the picture, it looks like a small dab directly underneath the heel. If they only added some extra glue, these shoes would be 5 stars all day. So I spent the extra $15 on inserts, maybe I could have just spent more on better shoes. Again, good shoe, nice fit, NEEDS MORE GLUE. ... show more

I’m not a big shoe person, my list of priorities when it comes to picking out shoes goes as follows: 4. Durability 3. Looks 2. Price 1. Comfort These are some of the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever warm. I wear them for daily use, they look great and they’re large enough to accommodate thermal socks. The width is just right and there’s just a hint of wiggle room for the toes. The insoles are comfortable, though I’ve never had a memory foam insole last more than 6 months, haven’t had these long enough to see if/when they break down. My biggest complaint is the insole feels a little too slippery, but as long as they last a year or two of regular use I’ll definitely buy these again! ... show more

I read the reviews and seen that there was an issue with the insoles not being glued and coming out. I just received the pair I order today 12/15/2020 and low and behold I tried them on and right off the insoles came out of the shoes. Now mind you I only walked about three feet in my house and they came out. Unfortunately I’m not going to return them as I would if it was not Christmas and figured it would be weeks before I would get another pair from another manufacturer. I will take some adhesive and properly glue them together as they should have been in China🤬 ... show more

My husband has high arches with boney feet but is a farmer so is used to working in Muck Boots. They are a brand look it up. He also has an injury to his left foot he needs to take care of. His foot is wide at the ball but narrow at the heal. I’m saying all this because as soon as he puts on a pair of shoes he either likes them and wears them or shakes his head no. So he likes these shoe! They have room at the ball and tie. We ordered the next size larger after returning the first pair. They are lightweight but made well. He will only wear these when he has to wear a suit but it they look much dressier than Adidas running shoes. ... show more

I bought these to wear for 9 hour days, 5 days a week at an office and have already worn them for almost 6 months already. I am honestly surprised by how well these have held up for shoes in this price range for this amount of time. And they are still more comfortable than the 100$ Calvin Klein shoes I wore previously. The bottoms of these resist the shock of walking well being made of thick rubber and the shoe itself has held its shine and still looks clean this entire time. I only wiped them down once! The cushioning inside isn't like memory foam but does offer some addition comfort which still works for me as daily beater work shoes. The only reason I'm giving these 4 stars is because they do crease fast and most by the front on top. Overall though I'm very satisfied with this purchase and the performance you get out of these for the price. ... show more

I have been wearing this shoe for going on 10 years and I believe Deer Staggs has changed the name of the model at least once in that time. I wear them virtually every work day in an active office/management position. I know that they are durable enough to wear for about a year. The outsoles never wear out. The synthetic upper maintains its ability to be cleaned and shined. For a $30.00 shoe, I get exactly what I expect and more. The insole support and padding will maintain its condition for about 4-6 months of daily wear before they collapse. But, even then, the shoes are comfortable and durable on the outside. There is ZERO breaking in...they literally are as comfortable on Day One as they are on the day that they are retired. This is not a high end shoe by any means and I do not expect them to last for years. They are intended to be comfortable, get the job done, and get the next pair. I typically order two (2) pairs at a time just in case the price changes, goes up, or they stop making them. Totally dedicated to these Deer Staggs. ... show more

I got these when my husband started a new job that includes a LOT of walking outdoors. I am always nervous when I buy apparel/shoes without trying them on first. My husband has fairly slender, flat feet. To my delight, he immediately LOVED these shoes! He found them incredibly comfortable even though he walks 15,000 steps per day at work.
