Good Value at first purchase $49.99. Well made and sturdy. A handsome stylish "dress shoe" type sandal that may be worn with a suit. The sizes seem to run large. The brown color (selected) comes as more of a Mahagony color. Nice. My first order, I had purchased the size 9-1/2 Wide that proved to be much too big. I returned those and purchased size 9-wide that was good in length, but still too wide. I returned those re-ordering again by purchasing the 9-regular , Nailed it!! The 9-R fit perfectly! Returns were handled efficiently and the re-ordered delivery was timely. Very pleased. 5star***** recommended. I'm considering a second pair in the lighter colors that are offered!

Very comfortable out of the box, none of the breaking in our chafing I've had with ornery huaraches style sandals. Sizing was spot on. The closures aren't as low profile as I'd like but can be hidden with proper cuff breaks fairly easily.

I have a very wide foot and these are the only Huarache I've come across that are available in a wide width. That said, they would fit me better if they were wider still. I'm hoping that given the woven leather construction they will stretch out given some time. I may oil them a bit to soften up the leather. I ordered a half size down since everyone says they run large. I could have gone a full size down but glad that I didn't given they are a bit too narrow for me. They look very nice but there is no insole cushioning and zero arch support. They do seem to have a decent sole and are thankfully NOT the traditional piece of tire tread. I tried a different brand last year and had to send them back because they were far to narrow. These are the widest I've found and I think they will be a keeper. Edit: After wearing these for about 3 weeks they have stretched enough to be quite comfortable. At first I could only wear them for a few hours but now I can wear them all day. They are still intact and I think they will give good service. I like that they are cool and casual but one could wear them to a decent restaurant should dining out ever become available again.

I bought the Deer Stags Men's Bamboo 2 Brown Multi Leather 9.5 M US last year and decided to get the black version this year to round out my wardrobe. The first thing I did after receiving them —but before actually wearing either version— was to take them to a nearby shoe repairman to have plastic (nylon?) heel plates put on the heels to keep the heels themselves from wearing out too quickly. Also, that way, I only need to replace just the heel plates when they wear out, saving the heel altogether. Granted, they're not made from the finest leather around, but they are very comfortable and, I think, stylish. Plus, I hate sandals where your toes show. The leather softens up after you've been wearing them a while, especially if you polish them periodically with neutral creme leather polish (not wax) when they get dull looking. Update: I bought my first pair of Deer Stags back in August 2019. They've held up to my constantly wearing them during the spring & summer months —generally March to mid-September where I live. In late July 2021, the elastic in the adjustable strap broke on the right sandal of my multi-leather pair. Although the soles and heels still had a lot of wear left on them, I went ahead and ordered a new pair on Amazon. Surprisingly, they were out of stock and weren't expected until sometime in late September 2021. I was disappointed that it was going to take so long to get the new pair so I took the broken pair to the nearby shoe repair and they fixed the strap no problem. As soon as they were repaired, I got an e-mail from Amazon telling me that the new pair I had ordered had been shipped! I received them a couple of days later, took them to the same shoe repair to have plastic heel plates put on them before I ever wore them (as I explained in my original review, above). Now I have my "daily" Deer Stags and my "dress" Deer Stags in multi-brown leather. These are great sandals and I get a lot of compliments on them from time to time and I highly recommend them.

EXCELLENT VALUE, AND THEY LOOK GREAT. BOUGHT THESE TO BE WORN FOR CHURCH FOR A PERSON WHO COMPLAINS THAT THEIR FEET ARE ALWAYS HOT. WELL, HE LOVED THEM SO MUCH WE GOT A SECOND PAIR IN ANOTHER COLOR. NOT ONLY THAT, HE IS WEARING THEM EVERYWHERE WITH EVERYTHING SO NOW WE HAVE TO BUY NEW ONES BECAUSE THEY ARE STARTING TO GET BEAT UP AND FOR CHURCH THAT WON'T DO. THEN HE CAN HAVE A PAIR FOR CHURCH AND A PAIR FOR LEISURE. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

These take some time to break in. Other brands of these dress sandals are comfortable out of the box. This pair rubbed a blister on the heel of my right foot that was pretty deep and took a while to heal. I will wear them, but I may use some leather conditioner on them first.

These shoes initially ordered 11 W US size and turned out to be not fit and oversize, later tried 10.5 W US size and same issue. After ordering 10 W US size it fits me perfectly. They look very elegant, just like dress shoes and still breathable with great comfort. Incase any one orders these consider the US sizes meant seems to be actually EU sizes.
