This was bought for a cosplay in December… I fear I'll wear them in too much by then! While they aren't meant for too much walking, these are very comfortable work shoes, and they pair well with much of what I wear. They are, predictably, less comfortable the longer they are worn in a way that the average sneaker is not, but I think that is to be expected out of dress shoes. They have a sleek look. My 13 year old's shoes fit fine. He wore them with dress socks and there were no complaints on the immediate fit from him (he will always complain out the gate if clothes/shoes feel uncomfortable). He wore them to school with suit clothes today so that report could change. The 3.5 size was a little too big for the 8 y/o, but he still wore them and made them work. I hate returning things so we will keep the 3.5's and he'll eventually grow into them. These dress shoes look good and come at a very affordable price (under $30) so I'll just buy him a size 3 at some point soon. ... show more
