This mirror came well-packaged and was easy to install. However, after taking off the blue film I noticed very fine - what I thought were - scratches in the glass. They were in different places all over the mirror. BUT after my husband looked at it he said they would come off. After trying a regular glass cleaner he brought out the mirror glaze polish & they came right out - the glass is fine. It is the right size, brightens and dims fine, and the defogger works. It's just not bright enough, and we will be buying a light to go above it. There is no way I could put makeup on using it ... show more

this is great in my newly remodeled bathroom. It's big and bright without blinding you. Only thing I wish is that it came with cleaning instructions. I used a window cleaner on it with vinegar but it just left streaks. Tried several things to get streaks off, but some still there. So not 100% sure it's a real glass mirror? It came packaged very well too. I was worried about it breaking during shipping. But love the mirror and it was about $50 cheaper than the home improvement stores! ... show more

Very pleased. This is a very beautiful mirror that adds well to the esthetic I like. Other reviews had implied that this unit did not have switch memory when using a wall switch but it actually does. This may be a recent addition but mine does and that's exactly the way I like it. I turn the lights on as I walk into the bathroom and turn them off as I leave without having to walk to the mirror. The 84x40 inch is a relatively heavy unit and the idea of using only the supplied anchors to mount frightens me. For me both wall mounting plates traversed studs and so one of mounting holes on each is firmly anchored to a stud with the rest using drywall anchors as supplied. I suspect that most would be able to mount to studs and I would advise it. ... show more

This is the first time I ever had to buy a mirror for a bathroom, and the trend of an LED-lighted mirror had passed me by until this point. I was convinced this would seem cheaply made, or the light wouldn’t be bright enough, or it would be too cold of a light. It actually turned out to be perfect and exactly what we needed. It’s not bright enough to light every corner of the bathroom, but I supplement it with a dim ceiling light and it’s really quite nice and luxurious. I didn’t install it myself, the contractor did it, but I didn’t hear that they had any problems with that part. It was really sturdily packed, too. It’s not often I’m pleasantly surprised by something like this, so take my word for it. ... show more

The five stars are given to the customer service and the shopping experience with Decoraport. I had to return the mirror because the size is a bit over. Unfortunately, the package was damaged during the transit and FedEx dumped the mirror!! They dumped the 800 dollars mirror without a single word of notice until I called in one month later yet did not get much help. The seller then helped deal with FedEx and ended up they lost the mirror and paid the refund to me. During the entire process of purchasing and returning, Decoraport had been very responsive and helpful. I gave five stars to the other mirror I ordered from Decoraport which is a smaller vertical LED lighted medicine cabinet mirror. It is beautiful and well made. It gives a nice storage and style to the bathroom without any other shelves or drawers. With the hidden light inside the cabinet, it is very pleasant to look at the inside items stored. I want to thank Decoraport for such neat product and thoughtful customer services. I definitely chose Decoraport again in the future if I ever need to buy a mirror. I absolutely will recommend it to friends and families. They have a huge collection for choosing. I can say they are high-quality products at least the two I ordered are. First package sent was damaged in transit and never delivered. When notified, the seller promptly shipped a replacement that came quickly and undamaged. Both times sent via FedEx. Came packaged in light wooden crate with plenty of Styrofoam padding (I ordered the 55x36 model). Installation is simple and straightforward - just measure and mark out the location of the hanging brackets, drill the holes, attached the brackets with included 1/2" drywall anchors (it's a plastic butterfly type which I've never encountered and that seem pretty secure and sturdy), then connect the power and hang on the wall - done. It connects to your standard 2-wire 110 volt line (no electrical connection hardware included). It will stick out from the wall a couple of inches, but looks nice and clean. Rated 4/5 stars because the backlight is not as bright as I would like it to be - barely enough for a vanity mirror, and also because if used with a wall switch, it does not remember on/off mode and activates in "OFF" mode every time the switch is thrown, meaning it will not light up until you press the red power button on the mirror surface. ... show more

Just got my item and the quality of the mirror is very good also the light is very bright it actually lights up my entire bathroom which is not very big but not too small. I give it a 4 star because the touch feature sometimes doesn’t work and I find myself touching it 2 and 3 times but it’s not a huge deal it’s only sometimes. Also i initially wanted to install this mirror horizontally but when I received it I noticed it was not possible since the mounting bracket only allows you to mount it vertically so I had to make some arrangement with my existing bathroom light in order to mount it this way but it actually came out nice so also not a big deal so if you are buying this to mount it horizontally then get something else because it’s not possible. ... show more
