I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the box and slipped on these shoes, they are a bargain especially for this price. These are handsome to look at and comfortable to wear. The fit is perfect, I wear 11 US in every other shoe and these fit perfectly. This is a fully synthetic shoe. I was impressed how far synthetics have come. They do have an slight artificial feel to the surface, but they look like leather at any distance. The sole and outer material are all some form of plastic. That said, they look quite good. They are light weight, not overly hot to wear. The outers have an oxford design with fenestrated surface. (Little holes that appear to stop at an inner layer.) It is a lightly textured look. The heal area is smooth. I would imagine this surface, being synthetic, would be easy to clean. While these are not the handmade Italian dress shoes that cost a bundle, they will have a place in your more casual wardrobe. I ordered the black and plan to wear these with black and white outfits. One interesting note is the inner sole. It appears to be some kind of memory foam or soft padding as when I walk, I can feel some recovery action in the insole, after a few minutes I really liked it and got used to it quickly. Positives: • A good clean classic look for short money • Not cheap looking • Comfortable and lightweight • Padded insole. • No chemical smell Negatives: • Totally synthetic (may not be a negative for many) Overall, there is little to gripe about with these shoes. They are good value, a handsome classic, should be easy to clean and I bet they are water resistant to some degree. These may not last as well as handmade natural leather shoes, but they may last longer, I really don’t know yet. The construction seems solid. I like these shoes. They look good. They are a good shape with a normal proportion sole. Some new dress-sneaker have an oversized sole that I don't like. The material is a PU leather (man-made and polyurethane coated). This is a good choice for this type of shoe. The sole is a good mix of strength and comfort. The insole is soft and provides the expected and appropriate dress-sneaker amount of support. The pair I received has a small blemish on the upper (disappointing but not noticeable enough to warrant a return). All other surfaces look brand new and uniform in color and texture. ... show more

I was hesitant about ordering shoes online, but this stylish pair caught my eye. I ordered my usual size mens 9 and these fit perfectly. There is no binding or sharp points inside or outside. They really fit like a glove but on my foot. The insole is smooth, soft and padded. The outside is stitched well. The bottom sole is softer and not slippery on my wooden floor. I know the outside material is man made, but I feel I could almost wear these playing tennis, that is how comfortable they feel. I plan to be wearing these to work as business casual wear, but these would work in almost any occasion. ... show more

The shoes have an aesthetically pleasing design and are durably constructed. They use PU synthetic leather or Polyurethane, which make these easy to clean. For a narrow foot they may fit better. As for me, my feet are wide and these were really snug on me, making them not as comfortable as I had hoped. I'm not sure if a half a size larger would fix my issue.     • Going Out On a Limb…

The media could not be loaded. I have to admit, I was a little skeptical when I saw these shoes online. When they arrived, and I took one shoe out of its bag, I was immediately impressed. I held the shoe in my hand, and I level and rotated. It, inspecting it from every angle, and I could not find a flaw. The more I rotated and inspected the shoe the more pleased I was. I can appreciate the stitching along the sole as it looks real, and I like the upper padding that goes around the ankle, which not only helps with breaking them in, but also, I think will maintain some comfort over the long-haul. I always like to wear a new pair of shoes one day before I make any decisions about insoles. I was on my feet a lot with these shoes the first day, and they maintained a good level of comfort. I do not think I will need extra insoles, or even new insoles for the shoe. Overall, the early returns have been very nice and I really like this pair of shoes. The reason I say I’m going out on a limb is because I’m going to give them a five star rating after wearing them only one day. That’s how confident I feel about this pair of shoes. I’m satisfied.
