    • Not 6-Feet Tall and One Set Crooked in Pot
I purchased these two (2) Artificial Areca Palm Plant Trees for privacy on my screened-in porch. The purchase was made in Feb. or Mar. of 2022. They arrived fairly quickly, but to my dismay they were were not 6-feet tall. One (1) is 5 foot 2 inches; the other one (1) is 5 foot 6 inches tall. Also, the one that is 5 foot 6 inches tall was firmly set, crooked, in the concrete pot they come in and could not/cannot be straightened properly, so the whole thing leans to one side. On March 12, I contacted Amazon to complain, but never received a reply. At the time I received these, I did not want to have to go through all the trouble of trying to force them back into the skinny box and having to return them at the closest federal express location (40 minutes away). While I am not totally dissatisfied, as they do offer some privacy, due to the fact they are not the 6-foot size indicated, and one leans heavily to one side, I feel some relief/compensation is due, and want to know what can be done to successfully resolve this matter. ... show more

They say these are for outdoors but mine did not last a year. Apparently they have a metal spine that rusted out and the trees fell over after 10 months under a covered porch.

I was disappointed that one of the pots was cracked when I opened the box. It would be a huge hassle to return it and wait for another, so I kept it. The plants look great otherwise.
