Got these cause I was tired of clog style slippers that flip flopped all the time unless I shuffled my feet. These are super soft inside, nice and warm, don’t make my feet sweat at all, and fit perfect. I’m a US9 in women’s shoes usually. These aren’t very snug but aren’t too loose either. They are a teeny bit stiff right out the box but that goes away with like an hour or two of wearing them. Would probably take even less time if you wore thick socks. Tried on both 9 and 9-wide and ended up going with the wide cause it felt like the rubber sole had more coverage. Been wearing them every day around the house for a month or so and occasionally out on the concrete patio or in the yard for a minute and they don’t show any kind of wear outside of the normal look of suede that’s been wet. They don’t have a lot of padding but to me they don’t need it and there’s enough room in them that I could probably get away with adding an insole if I needed more. As they are they’re still way comfier than standing in my bare feet for hours at my desk. ... show more

I took off 1 star because the sizing is too wonky. It's literally a crapshoot to get the right size! ANd compared to the other reviewers, I am in the minority. I am a solid 8.5M. And when I say solid, I mean SOLID. Every review on here was that these were very narrow and run small. Size-up they all said, and so I did. I bought a 9M. Did they fit? Yes. But I've had similar slippers (the mule type slip-ons) and I know that the shearling lining is going to mat down, and the leather will stretch and give a bit. So although the 9 was fine, I knew they needed to be a bit snug on me which these were not. They did not have an 8.5M, but they did have an 8W which was also suggested (to go wide) since these were going to be super narrow. So I bought the 8W and guess what? The length was actually fine for my 8.5-sized foot, but they were WIDE. Hello??? Of course they were as that is what I bought! Was I actually going to be a size 8M in these after all of this when every shoe in my closet is a 8.5M and after the 9M and 8W were just not the "ones", and after every reviewer on here said size-up????? So I bought the 8M and guess what? THEY ARE PERFECT - PERRRRRFECT! Warm, fluffy on the inside, with and without socks, not too narrow as some others have experienced, and comfortably snug which is what you want when buying these. My Earth Origins slipper mocs from Macys that I had for years finally wore out so I took a chance on these. So glad I did! I live in south Florida and have no need for fleece lining but I find them the most comfortable to wear and like that I can walk outside with the dog in the morning because the soles are very sturdy. I am a size US 8.5/EU 39 across the board. I mistakenly listened to all of the reviews saying to size up and ordered a 9 (there are no half sizes). They were too big. I ended up returning the 9 and reordered an 8. Initially they felt snug, especially in the toe area, but after wearing them for literally only 5 minutes they are perfect. They are shearling lined, so once the shearling starts to mat down/conform to your foot, they are absolutely perfect!     • How can slippers make you unstable?
I was looking for softness, easy on-off, and warmth, and expected stability as well, based on the photos and the sole. They are very soft, so warm, and easy on-off, five stars for those properties. However it is a chore to walk in these. There is a soft mound in the center of the heels that causes my feet to slip to one side or the other, where there is a trough where the sole meets the sides, and the sides are loose/wide. It makes my ankles wobble. To walk and stay in the center of the heel mound takes concentration and toe clenching, if that is a thing, or toe curling. I am 69, have fragile bones, walk up and down stairs at home, these are unsafe for me. ... show more

I really like these shoes!! They are so comfortable. I wear a size 10 wide and I ordered this size even though the reviews I read say it runs small. This shoe fits very well and is comfortable & soft. I find shoes like these usually make my feet sweat as they are not breathable. These shoes are great and do not make my feet sweat. These are the best price for the quality that I’ve found this year. Super fluffy inside is natural so I don’t sweat. Outside is nice color. Bottom is hard if I want to run out and start the car before I get dressed on winter days. True to size but snug at first until fluff is matted.
