Ordered these bootie slippers in blue and they arrived quickly and in good order. They are plush, keep my feet warm, and the semi rigid plastic sole makes them easy to wear on our hardwood floors. I *did* order a size up (usually wear M8, ordered size L 9-10) and they fit nicely with a little extra room at the toe. Hardwood floors and west-facing windows do not make for warm winter mornings. I stole my sister's RockDoves that she left at my house and after two weeks of solid wear, ordered my own, like a good person. What makes these special is their coziness,. THE GOOD RockDove created a really good slipper all around. The grippy sole keeps good tread on hardwood floors, and similarly slippery surfaces like tile or vinyl plank. Soft inner soles and well-constructed "fur" conform comfortably to feet without going flat or staying too stiff, finding a comfortable variable in between. The nice rounded toebox supports good foot health by letting you spread your digits out and curl them while wearing some pretty thick socks. I get no pinching, which is essential even for someone like me with a narrow, long foot. The "fur" exterior isn't fleece, fluffy, or fuzzy, but something more like a particularly opulent pup's coat, and I say that with all love! Dense, nubbly coils gives a really pleasant texture that contributes to the softness without losing colour or softness. My sister's had and worn hers incessantly for over 18 months, and hers still look pretty much new. The copper-cinnamon colour is really very appealing. These are soft, comfy slippers. They keep my feet warm (not hot) and cozy without being sweaty or heavy. THE MEH: Though my sis and I wear the same size, the new slippers definitely run narrower when new. I've had to squish my feet in there and really wiggle my foot around to make room, especially if wearing socks. My feet are naturally narrow, so I'll point out that you might need to use a good cedar shoe tree if you don't wear your slippers much. They retain their shape beautifully though, ... show more

I almost passed up these slippers because of the reviews that said it was hard to get your foot in them. I can say, that was not my experience at all. My shoe size ranges from 8-9 depending on manufacturer but I’m most often an 8.5 in sneakers, pointy-toe flats or heels, and boots. I bought a size L in the pink color and they fit super - no difficulty getting my foot in at all. What’s more, these slippers have a cozy fit. Finally, a pair of warm slippers that don’t feel like extra wide boats! Other slippers are wide and loose, and they have so much foam in the bottom, it’s hard to walk correctly and you almost trip. Comfortable and keeps my ankles warm. Cushioning in the bottom is great, but also make it hard to walk in normally. Feel like I have to pick up my feet extra high to prevent the slippers from scuffing along the floor.

I wear a size 8, medium width shoe, so I would normally order size Medium 7-8 in this slipper. Thanks to the many reviews advising buyers to "size up," I ordered a size Large 9-10. So glad I did! The slippers have so much interior fleece lining that they are only slightly loose, not enough to slip off. Most important, I'll be able to wear winter socks with them this winter. ... show more

I wear a size 7 shoe but I bought myself a small because I like snug slippers. It works for me because I have a very narrow foot. The small size keeps them from slipping up and down on my narrow heel. I love the sturdy sole. It gives it the stability of a shoe while feeling cozy as a slipper.
