Kiddo LOVES them. He says they are comfy and keep his feet warm. He wears them whenever we are home. I would say they are true to size, thick (quality) material and as pictured. They have decent traction to prevent slipping. The backs are relatively low/ the edge is not the same all the way around. So if your kiddo runs out of their shoes, this might not be the best option
