I bought this twice in the last five years. The first time was in order to facilitate taking work back-and-forth to the office. It was excellent for that and quite frankly it was heavily used over those five years. Due to the frequent use recently it did finally fall apart. It’s been logged up and downstairs, in and out of elevators and through airports without any issues whatsoever. I replaced it recentlywith the second purchase. The best part of this is cart is the ease of storage, folds flat and has wheels. It does come with a flat piece that can be used at the top to cover which I did use periodically and found very convenient however, most of the time I did not use it. Great when it works, but handle durability is a concern. I purchased this in 2023, and after two years of regular use, the retractable handle is malfunctioning—it retracts fully but only extends to 2 of the 3 intended heights. This is my second cart with the same issue, which suggests a potential design flaw. When the handle functions properly, this is an excellent tool. However, as it stands now, I'm forced to lean uncomfortably to transport it because the handle won't reach a comfortable height. Just came home from a 4th of July trip & am going to review this AWESOME cart that makes life sooooo much easier when transporting food items! We all have a night to make dinner, & there is only ONE grocery store for miles. So bringing your meal items is the best way to ensure u have everything u need. This cart is hands down the perfect transport method. I put canned & bottled items in it (prob 40lbs worth) then put a crate on top of the lid with the crackers & chips & bread. So easy! The handle slides up & down easily. The lid snaps on easily. You don't have to use the lid, but I highly recommend it so that you can add a 2nd crate. This is super sturdy. Easy to assemble (only 3 steps) & rolls smoothly. Can be used for a wide variety of purposes (books/papers/traveling office etc) and the basic black color is great. This product is wonderful for the cost. I purchased the standard version with a gray lid, on sale for about $44. It was available with an orange or blue lid instead at $39, but I bought it to carry art supplies and didn't want a distracting color if I ended up using it as a table for paints. It didn't feel super sturdy right out of the box, but the pieces fit together so well they support each other just enough (note: it didn't come with instructions, so it's easy to miss the sliding bars at the top that give a bit of extra support to the folding sides. But it's really the lid that makes it all fit together and feel sturdy.) The casters did fine on rough asphalt. The extension handle is lightweight but securely fitted, and didn't wobble. If I ever need the cart to double as a seat as advertised, I'll pack a cushion. I don't expect this to last forever, but I'd buy it again. ... show more

I have had this item for a little over 8 months and I used it 4 to 5 time a week. The handle just broke and there doesn't appear to be any way to fix it. The handle will not go back into the cart and when I try to extend it, one side comes free of the cart. I'm very disappointed.
