    • Perfect nursing chair
Color: Performance Cream
Review Image by Kassim Bazirgan
Okay, after researching nursing chairs for over a month, I finally decided on the Carter’s by DaVinci Arlo Recliner, and I’m so glad I did! Here are the qualities I was looking for: • Smooth rocking and gliding • Not too bulky for the nursery • Beige/neutral color • Good head support in case I fall asleep in it • Comfortable, raised armrests for easy nursing • Easy to recline • If manual, easy to close with one foot • Reasonably priced — I didn’t want it to cost an arm and a leg! • Ideally, power reclining, although I found that most high-quality power recliners were significantly more expensive Honestly, this chair met all of my expectations. The rocking and gliding functions are amazing. I was able to recline it very easily with just one pull, and closing the footrest wasn’t difficult at all. This was a big concern for me because I have other manual recliners where I literally have to put up a fight with the chair just to get the footrest to close! So far, I’m extremely happy with this purchase. It has the comfort, support, functionality, and look I wanted for my nursery without the huge price tag. ... show more

    • Beautiful chair

Beautiful chair! Put together today in 5 minutes (as a 9 month pregnant lady) and dressed it up with the perfect extra pillow from target to match my daughter’s nursery. The chair feels like it’s well made and will be comfortable. It needs to be broken in a bit but not worried about that. It swivels, glides, reclines, and was less than half the cost of the glider/recliner I purchased for my son’s room a few years ago. Can’t wait to use it! ... show more

    • Quality and value are excellent
Color: Performance Cream
If you're looking for a quality, yet budget friendly nursery chair, this is it. The performance fabric is both soft and easy to clean. The chair is quiet, comfortable, and beautiful. We were able to easily assemble it in less than 2 minutes. I did not want to sacrifice quality for budget when it came to my nursery chair, but I didn't want to spend an arm and a leg. I am very pleased with this purchase! ... show more

    • Was skeptical, but if you’re in doubt BUY IT!
Color: Performance Cream
Love this chair. Quality is great: soft fabric that’s easy to clean and size is substantial enough for both my husband and I to use comfortably. It is a heavy chair so there isn’t a lot of additional movement without a good bit of effort but it is nice that it doesn’t just rock away from its spot or feel unstable. Being able to rock, swivel and recline is fantastic with my newborn. The leg rest is slightly more difficult to close and can cause the chair to tip slightly if you lean to far forward. Only other complaint is that my husbands legs are too heavy for him to actually recline, but no issue for me. Overall love the chair and very worth it for the price and ease of assembly and delivery ... show more

    • Gorgeous chair, I hope it lasts years!
Color: Performance Cream
01/19/24 UPDATE: I have had this chair now for close to 2 years. This has been one of our best purchases in our house for the little one. To this day I use it daily. The only thing is the seat is a little dirty, which would easily clean up with a wet rag. I know in my original review I said I wouldn’t pay full price for it, I take that back! I absolutely would now knowing it’s durability it’s withheld the last 2 years, along with it’s beauty its maintained. This chair has seen many sleepless nights, sicknesses, cuddles, and book readings. It’s been a lifesaver through it all. Update: 8 months later and my thoughts are still the same! Chair is still beautiful, still comfortable, and at this point we’ve probably clocked 600+ hours on it. I feel comfortable saying this chair has been a staple in our home. I purchased the Arlo recliner in the cream color, why? Because it looked gorgeous in the photos. It’s equally as gorgeous in person, not to mention comfortable. I am 5 foot, my husband 6’2” and we both enjoy the comfort of this chair. We have been putting countless hours since our little one was born. It’s currently had 3+ months of constant use and I feel comfortable enough to write a review. Is it as pretty as the day we got it? Yes! It’s easy to clean with a cloth whenever spit ups happen. As for durability it’s held up pretty well. A few screws at the foot stool have fallen out, but they are easy to screw back in. The reclining lever doesn’t seem as good as when it was new, however it still works! It just needs a firmer pull, but that doesn’t bother me at all. As long as it continues to work! As for value I think it’s a great chair, but think it’s a little on the higher end. Would I purchase this on sale? Absolutely! Would I purchase this chair again full price? Probably not. At the end of the day it looks cute in the nursery and serves it’s purpose. ... show more

    • If you’re on the fence - buy it
Color: Performance Cream
I was skeptical about buying a nursery chair I couldn’t try but after having this chair for two months know can say I’m glad I went ahead and ordered it. The style is great - really like the material. It’s soft and cozy and looks chic. The rocking motion and full reclining is super useful for late night feeds ( can comfortably do football hold and cross cradle once the legs are up). I was originally looking at the kiwi from babyletto but couldn’t justify the price tag. I’m incredibly happy with this option instead though my only grievance is if you get up too quickly the chair loudly slams the floor as it straightens itself out so definitely move slowly as not to wake your LO. ... show more

    • Great chair for nursery!
Color: Performance Cream
Review Image by Jessica
This chair was super easy to put together. It took about 5 minutes or less. The hardest part was getting it through the doorway to the nursery! It’s very comfortable, cute, and reclines and glides very easily. A previous review mentioned that it is hard to get the footrest down, but I have no issues with my chair. For reference, I am 5’4” and my husband is 5’10” and we both fit comfortably in the chair. My baby likes to be rocked to sleep in it. I would recommend this chair, and I would purchase again! ... show more

    • Amazing nursing chair, even for 5’1
Color: Performance Cream
Review Image by Duong
This chair is the best investment I made for my postpartum journey. I use it literally everyday. I struggled to find a chair that would not be too big for a 5’1 woman but still fit my husband. This chair is the one! I can still touch the floor when I sit. And even if I remove the supporting pillow and lean back, I can still glide the chair without touching the floor. The chair is super comfy and sturdy. The seat is roomy enough to fit my Bobby and Breast friend nursing pillow. I don’t use the recline function a lot because it makes a loud thud to close when I have a sleeping baby in the room. But other than that, everything is great! ... show more
