  • Amazing blower
This is an amazing product. It has crazy amounts of power. It is extremely well-built with a steel housing. It is kind of loud but that is expected for what it is. It is truly the best duster. Far more powerful than normal canned air and you can use it for a while at a time and not in bursts like a can. It does get a bit hot but it's not unreasonable. It does smell a bit at first but it's not unbearable. ... show more

  • Built like a tank
This thing is big, heavy and LOUD, but it's incredibly powerful and makes canned air look like a joke. I bought it to help maintain my PC case but it's great for all kinds of things, and I've even used it as a leaf blower for our (small apartment) balcony. Just be warned, the casing gets warm during use. This is a commercial tool and it's built for function, not looks or really anything else. ... show more

  • Unit gets hot with extended use but works great - no static observed
I bought this to use when dusting off electronic components. I hated the canned air option because they're expensive, gets cold in your hand, and they just run out way too fast. I work on a lot of equipment so having a steady supply of air like this is wonderful. I used to hook up my air compressor if I was doing high volume blow outs but this is SO much easier. I didn't get the one listed as ESD safe but honestly, in all the things I've used this on (electronic, non-electronic, etc) I haven't had any problems, and I haven't "sensed" any static in the air flow. If you've ever experienced a high static charge environment, maybe you know what I mean...hard to describe. I've used this to dust out computers, stereo equipment, other electronic odds and ends. I've also used this to blow out air filters and just general "dusting" of hard to reach spots (laundry room where the dust bunnies seem to collect in odd places) so I could more easily grab the fluff or let a room air filter work it out once I've stirred the hornet's nest, so to speak. If you do run it for a while (maybe a minute or two) you'll feel the motor get warm but that's normal. The air filter on the bottom of this can also get clogged somewhat fast, especially if, like me, you're using it in a dusty environment to begin with, but it pops out super easy or you can swipe it and get it mostly clean to keep going quick. Would I get the ESD model next time? Maybe, just to be on the safe side, but this thing has been pretty solid and I don't see it breaking down anytime soon (I've had it for years) so I may not have a need to get another anytime soon. It's definitely a keeper. Note that the static I mentioned may depend entirely on your environment. Hot and humid would be much different than cold/dry for example. I'd think a dry climate would generate more static? Where I am, humidity indoors is typically in the 50-60% range, or 80-90% outdoors, so that may tamp down any static buildup. If I were in the Arizona desert it might be entirely different. ... show more

  • Does the job and it does it well
This Duster is easy to handle, and it does blow a lot of air; The cable is long enough and quite thick and resistant allowing for extra mobility that with the flexibility the nuzzles it has adds, makes this a very nice recommendation on my end. Personally, I would enjoy a bit of a harder case to store the nuzzles, but that would be overkill. I have already cleaned my PC, my keyboard, some fans, my AC unit along other miscellaneous electronics. ... show more

  • Great for most electronics
Used to clean Gaming Desktop; Gaming Laptop; PS Audio Stereo Amp; PS Audio 6.1 Pre-Amplifier; Dynalab FT-1 Analog FM Tuner; Tascam 122 MK-III Cassette deck; Nakamichi BX-300 Cassette deck; Sony TC-WE305 Dubbing Deck; Onkyo DV-CP702 CD/DVD changer; Sony DVP-S3000 CD/DVD player; Denon AVR-3200 Home Theater Receiver and a host of other electronics. Even used it to dust my DW Acoustic Drum Kit. If I were a Chimpanzee I'd give it 4 thumbs up, but, due to the increase in intelligence I lose 2 thumbs so all I can give is 2 thumbs up. ... show more

  • Better then expected, but leaks and stinks
I first used this on a mechanical keyboard skeptical of how it would do. I was surprised when it moved my hand when turned on and then I noticed it was triggering key presses too. Then it started to smell like a cheap vacuum. Then I started to notice air was also blowing around the screws in the side. After a little sanity checking, it appears the seal between the top and bottom sections isn't good enough to keep up. This was all with the big cone attached, but it didn't seem any different with the smaller cone attached. This should be a pretty quick and easy fix for the manufacturer to just add a seal around that connection. I also noticed an extra hole in the small cone. I see it in other review's pictures, so I guess it's intentional as a pressure relief for the smaller cleaning attachments. I have a few things I'll be using this for, so I'll update if anything major comes up. To sum it up: Air pressure - Pretty good and close to a can of air before it gets cold. Noise - Similar to a cheap vacuum or shop vac, definitely louder than canned air Smell - Stinks like a cheap vacuum that is caught up in thick carpet Cord - Decent quality and length for indoor use, but I'd prefer it was grounded. Switch - Super generic on/off switch, but the positioning if pretty awful. Would be far better directly above the handle Overall - Worth it IF it lasts and the smell dissipates Other Notes - (1) The blower gets warm when run for a while, that means the air coming out does too. I haven't run it long enough to be concerned about the temp, but something to keep in mind. (2) Its not particularly small, but it does have a flexible straw that you have to attach to an attachment to help. Then there are attachments for your straw attachment for small spaces...yeah, an attachment for an attachment for an attachment... ... show more
