I looked at a number of bee costumes on Amazon and this was one of the most expensive BUT reading the descriptions of the others, it looked like they were vinyl apron-like garments that tie off at the shoulders. This one is a fabric (though a very cheap knitted fabric) shirt/tunic made to be worn over a long-sleeved shirt. It also comes with the leggings, a nice touch. It is VERY roomy! I am 5'8" tall & 175 lbs and it is very large on me, though not a problem because I didn't get it to look sexy. I would have given it 5 stars, except the headband with the antennae is very poorly put together & guaranteed to break before the Halloween party is over. One of the antennae was detached before I even got it out of the package. I didn't send it back because I was able to reinforce it adequately with a black pipe cleaner. So - 1 star for poor antenna design/quality control. I completed the costume with a pair of the bee-eyes glasses, a black long-sleeved T shirt, and a pair of black leggings.

For the price, I'm not quite happy. One antenna's yellow fluffy circle is broken upon arrival. I ordered a bigger one expecting to be comfortable, and the body cover is... but the leg warmers are tight on my arms and will not go on my legs, they're quite small and not very stretchable. The wings attach with Velcro. If this is the only thing in this size you can find, then so be it. But it left much to be desired. I'd return it but I didn't keep the packaging.

I was worried that the quality of this costumer might not be too great, but with the free return shipping I figured I would give it a go. When it came in I was very happy with the quality! It isn't see through, the wings stick to the costume very well with velcro. The velcro was a very nice touch so that I didn't have to wear the elastic that cuts into your arm pits. I wore this costumer for two events and the wings were taken on and off several times with no issue with the velcro. The leg warmers were perfect and stretchy if you have bigger calves. The headband was comfortable too. I wish they were bendy so they didn't stand up straight, but they were cute non the less!

I LOVE it! It's colorful and comfortable. Perfect modest costume for an office. The only odd thing is that it's a bee costume lacking a stinger. I mean who would create a bee costume and not include that vital part? The missing stinger is why this rates a 4 and not a 5.

Very comfortable and roomy! I’m 5’9” 140 lbs. I used a pillow to fill it out but the costume is cute with or without the extra stuffing. The elastic in the bottom of the costume held the pillow up with no problems. The sides of antenna headband is a little long but I was able to put my hair up in a doubled over high ponytail and set the headband on top of that and it fit fine. As a plus, my 3 and 4 year old grand kids love wearing it. They run around the house saying buzz, buzz, buzz.....

Excellent costume - super-cute and not too "sexy" since I was taking my son trick-or-treating for the first time. I was really surprised how difficult it was to find a women's costume that was appropriate for a kids party. My 2 year-old son and I dressed as bees and my husband dressed as a bee-keeper. I wore black leggings and black flats with it. It was in the 70s on Halloween night, so I just wore a tank top under the costume.
