The tunic is meant to be worn over another outfit to add another dimension, movement, or color combination. It features a V-neck style, empire waist, with attached strips of fabric that flow and move as you dance. String tie front can be tied close or farther apart depending on what look you prefer. This metallic streamer tunic was perfect for Aladdin's transformation into Prince Ali in our elementary school's production of Aladdin Kids. We removed the ties so the tunic hung open like a cloak. The tunic is thin enough that it was easily hidden under Aladdin's vest, with the streamers tucked into his pants, while my son was acting as "street rat" Aladdin. Then, during the transformation scene, he simply had to remove his purple vest and pull out the streamers and he was quickly, magically transformed into Prince Ali.
