Founded in 1990 by Mandy Cabot and Peter Kjellerup, Dansko’s mission is to improve the quality of people’s lives through our products, our passion, and our commitment to a better tomorrow. Former horse trainers, Mandy and Peter were traveling in Europe when they found the perfect “barn shoe” – the traditional clog. They returned with suitcases filled with clogs for family and friends, and soon started selling them from the back of their station wagon. Word of the clogs’ comfort traveled quickly, and Dansko (meaning “Danish shoe”) was born.

This pair of Dansko Women's Camdyn Heel-Comfort shoes are by far the most poorly constructed pair of Dansko Shoes I've ever purchased. The pair I purchased runs large and flip flops off my feet, the inside materials of the shoe are thin and stiff. In the past I've always adored every pair of Dansko Women's shoes I've ever purchased because of the high quality of leather and the way the shoe is constructed, designed and feels good to walk in like an exercise shoe. Perhaps it was this particular pair that was irregular and highly uncomfortable for me.
