Founded in 1990 by Mandy Cabot and Peter Kjellerup, Dansko’s mission is to improve the quality of people’s lives through our products, our passion, and our commitment to a better tomorrow. Former horse trainers, Mandy and Peter were traveling in Europe when they found the perfect “barn shoe” – the traditional clog. They returned with suitcases filled with clogs for family and friends, and soon started selling them from the back of their station wagon. Word of the clogs’ comfort traveled quickly, and Dansko (meaning “Danish shoe”) was born.

After only a month one heel collapsed. It’s rubber on the outside and hard block inside. In one heel the solid block on the inside was defective, too small and now I was walking on rubber part that gave way with every step. Other heel is good. I own a lot of Dansko clogs and love them, enjoyed them for years. This pair I bought first time for work to wear with suits. It’s so unlike Dansko for such a poor quality on the shoes. Good fit, support is good. Support is not as great as other styles in this brand but still good. Haven't worn them more than 2 weeks but I am olease so far. I have high arches so my top priority is support.

These are very comfortable and soft leather. I bought them for work and wear them with a dress. My feet are very picky about what I put on them. Easy to get on and off. Good arch support and room for orthotics if you use them.

This shoe is not suited for a narrow foot. Keeps widely on the side when foot is flexed. Does not conform to the heel.
