  • Inside sole shreds
I’ve been wearing danskos for over 5 years now for work. They’ve been my go to shoes, because they’ve always left me with no back or foot pain. These shoes fit great and did what they were supposed to do. Until the inside sole started shredding apart. I typically wear my dansko for 2-3 years and the outsides get ruined but never the insides. Especially like this. It’s a shame. Not even a year and they’re already ruined. ... show more

  • Experienced Dansko wearer:
I’ve been a Dansko professional clog devotee since 2005. It feels like as I’ve aged, the shoes have gotten heavier (I know it’s me and not the shoe that has changed). With the regular professionals and the xp, by the end of a long day on my feet (I work in an operating theatre) I was starting to feel like I was dragging weights around. This was not a problem when I was younger. I decided to give the 2.0 a try and am mostly very pleased; I’ve been wearing them now for a few months. They feel light on my feet and stay that way all day! The squishy insole has stayed squishy and the rocker sole is nice and bendy. The issue I’m having is with the toe box and the top. I’ve ordered the same size as always and it fits great, def the right size for me, but the toe box seems to be smaller than the other Danskos I’ve had (I have owned over a dozen pair), and the part that goes over my foot near my ankle, while having some nice squish now, means that my foot is moving more in the shoe itself. Combined this means that the tip of my toes are hitting the front of the shoe repeatedly. This has caused trauma to my toenails. Nothing painful, but I’ve had one nail lift and another is growing split. I did see a podiatrist and he said it’s the shoes causing too much movement, that to prevent this the shoe really needs an ankle strap to hold the shoe where it belongs (if this makes sense). Anyway, I’m still wearing them for now while I research alternatives because as I said, it’s not painful and they shoes stay light all day. I’ve always recommended Danskos before, but I’m not so sure about this iteration of them. ... show more

  • No break in period needed!
I’ve had a pair of XP’s before that lasted 3yrs but I began having hip soreness and would roll my ankles a lot. After being in tennis shoes, I decided to give the 2.0 a try. They’re not much lighter than the original, which was my main selling point based on product description. The first shift I wore them, I was able to keep them on a full 12hrs, so that’s a bonus. No sore soles! I’ll be interested to see how they do long term but overall a great shoe. ... show more

  • Toe box is not wide. Ordering wide is like an x-wide
Size: 8.5-9 Wide Color: Black
In the photo: left-wide width basic dansko size 40 Middle-wide width xp 2.0 dansko size 39 Right-medium width xp 2.0 dansko size 40 I wear 9.5-10 in shoes, I have a bunyon, and wide toes. XP 2.0 LINE: Even though the XP 2.0 line is made for wide feet they do not work for me because of the pointed toe box. I also had a hard time finding a size the fit just right. Months ago I ordered a 40 wide which was WAY TOO BIG. So I ordered a 40 medium width and a 39 wide width. The 40 med width fit snuggly and very nicely but hugged my bunyon a little too much and I worry the friction and movement will become uncomfortable during long wear. The 39 wide width fit more snuggly than the 40 wide width BUT as expected the shoe was short. So I had to return them. In case some people were unsure like I was, in the XP 2.0 line the sizes are automatically wide. For example, 40 will fit like a 40 wide. And 40 wide, will fit like a 40 x-wide. At least from my experience that's what it was like. REG DANSKO LINE: In the photo you can see how the toe box is wider. I've tried in stores the regular width dansko and my feet would not even fit! Even when I upsized! To my surprise, i ordered a 40 wide width dansko on a whim and it fit so well! The wide toe box was great for me because there was space for my bunyon. The heel was also spacious without being too snug, as it should be. ... show more

  • Great for 12hr shift, so light and comfy
Size: 4.5-5 Color: Black
I gave up on these clogs-heavy, narrow, owned 5! Bought the xp at last chance for $35, and loved them, light weight clogs. I love the XP.2.0, it’s so much lighter and really comfortable! Wore it w light socks, gold toe for 4hrs, took off socks for the the rest of 8hrs (rub on top of feet)! Wish they had them in 35 Wide, and it would be 5 stars! Great for my knee issue and plantar, too. No blister on day one! ... show more

  • Great shoes
I ordered a size 38 in the 2.0 and it was a perfect fit straight out of the box, I’ve worn them to work every shift since they arrived and I’ve had no problems! Previously I’d worn the regular XP’s, also size 38, and it took nearly a month to break them in. I chose the denim patent, no one else at work had this design yet (so its unique) and it goes with any color scrubs. These shoes are definitely worth the money! ... show more

  • Not made for a high arch!
Size: 9.5-10 Color: Black
This shoe is definitely not made for people with a high arch. By noon my foot was hurting. By 5 pm, I was in a lot of pain. I brought them to a shoe repair store to have them stretched. The instep is still way too low. I have a mostly sedentary medical position. I was hoping this shoe would crossover for my medical position and my part time retail job. I’m very dissatisfied and disappointed in the money wasted. ... show more

  • Maybe they’ll work for you, but they didn’t work for me
Size: 7.5-8 Color: Black
I tried these on in the store before buying, but they only had a size up and when I tried those they were far too loose. So I bought the same Dansko xp 2.0’s I tried on at the store one size down on amazon. I tried breaking them in for 3 weeks before wearing them to work. When I finally started wearing them to work they felt really great. I loved the arch support, but with my feet sliding in them all day my toes kept bumping against the toe of the shoe. Also the clogs killed the tops of my feet. They didn’t hurt when I first started wearing them but over the course of a 12 hour shift those shoes are killer. Next day my feet still hurt. I tried a few weeks in a row to wear them, then I tried for a few months on and off to wear them. It’s just not worth it. I switched back to my tried and true Sketchers I learned about while I was in the restaurant industry. I regret wasting my money on these shoes. ... show more
