Love, love, love these Dansko clogs. This is the second pair of the Ombre Patent I've purchased. One for work, one for home. They look sharp, they aren't too sparkly. They match just about everything because of the silver/gray and black. Just like all my other Dansko clogs they support my feet, keep my plantar fasciitis at bay and keep me going on my 12 1/2hr plus work days. If you haven't tried Dansko before I would strongly suggest you go try them on in a store to find your size first. I wear a 9-9.5 and consistently find 40 to be the perfect fit for me. They aren't like other shoes. When you first try them on you're likely to think they feel hard and stiff. Your heel should slip up and down when you walk which is also strange the fist time you try them. I've had some pairs be tight across the top of my foot (although these were not) and I just take them to the shoe repair shop and have them stretched rather than breaking them in. That said, once you wear them a while you won't be sorry. My hips, knees, lower back and feet thank me when I wear them and remind me if I've gone too many days without them. ;-) They put me at just the right angle that everything straightens out and feels better and my arches have the support they need. I haven't had a chance to wear them at work yet, but they seem like they will be perfect. The sizing was a little confusing, but after reading many reviews I went and got fitted. There is supposed to be a fingers room of space at the heel so they will slip off. This is not how my momma taught me to ft shoes so it took a little getting used to. I purchased the wrong size at first because what the sales lady told me slipped my mind, so I purchased the next size up and they fit beautifully. If you have a high arch you may want to have the opening stretched because the tip of my foot was rubbing and I can see how that would be pretty painful at the end of a long shift. Anyway, so far so good!

I just got my new Dansko and I love them. More green than I thought but I'll just get some new green scrubs to go with them. I went down to a 38 from a 39 because they are leather and figured they would loosen up some. The last pair I had were the outdoor canvas type water proof. These are too but a smooth finish and I think less likely to crack with wear. The heel is loose, feels short really like it isn't there or doesn't grab my foot. At first I thought this might be a problem but they stay on fine and makes the fit really comfortable. The sole is also a pretty wood colored finish. I ordered Wednesday late night and they got here Friday morning. Amazing!

I love the Dansko closed back clog. This is my second pair of black ones, having literally worn a hole in the soles of my first pair. It took 17 years to do that with near constant wear, so the money is definitely worth it. I highly recommend going and trying on a pair to be sure you get the fit you want and then you can order them from online. I have a high arch and a narrow heel and these support my feet awesomely (yes my heel flops a bit, but it's ok). When I worked retail I could work a 10 hour shift with no break (Christmas season anyone?) and my feet would be fine. These are awesome.

I am a student nurse, and was recommended Danskos, so I purchased these shoes. They were incredibly tight on one foot, and left my feet in pain by the end of the day. I figured I just needed to break them in. Well, I've been wearing them 3 times a week for two months now, and they haven't gotten any better. I have almost rolled my ankle quite a few times, and my feet are still very sore after wearing them. It really sucks that such an expensive shoe doesn't have a better return policy. I am very disappointed and will not purchase these or ever recommend them.

These Dansko Professional shoes are the most comfortable shoes I own. I have a brown oiled leather pair from approx 10 years ago that still fit perfectly and are still in great shape with just a little bit of wear on the toes. I also have a pair of tan canvas and a pair of black canvas Dansko "Volley" shoes that I bought for summer which are also super comfortable. I even wore them on the boardwalk with no socks during the summer and they did not hurt my feet at all. I highly recommend these shoes for anyone who spends alot of time walking on standing. They are well worth the money. Make sure you check the size chart before ordering to be sure you order the correct size. If you have never worn them before it might be a good idea to visit a retailer try them on to make sure you get the right size and proper fit.

I am a dankso fan for life. These shoes make my back and feet feel so much better! I would recommend going to a Dansko retailer to try them on to make sure you get the right size if you have never owned a pair before. They do run small. I normally wear an 11 in women's but always have to go up a full size in these shoes. Other than that, these are the best shoes I have ever owned!

The first pair I ordered according to the size chart and they were too small. Toes touched and heel was squeezed. I am in the process of returning the first pair however ordered a second pair in a larger size as I am desperately looking for foot pain relief at work. I received my second pair in a size up, now the right shoe fits perfectly but it was if the left did not change in size and has the same issue as the first pair. Never had I had a pair of shoes where one shoe was significantly different in sizing compared to the other. I am reluctant to order another size up as I fear they will be too big and flop on my heel. Any suggestions would be helpful as I was really excited about these shoes only to have the problem of now having to return a second pair.
