The closing strap on the side of the shoe started to tear after a couple of wears. For the kind of price this is not acceptable. They are super nice and comfy in general the question is just how long do they last… needless to say, I returned them and am looking for an alternative.

As expected of Danskos great fit, wearable right out of the box. They can be worn dressed up for business causal or dressed down. I feel like Danskos tend my make people's feet look bigger than they really are; these shoes have a nice slim toe. A little disappointed in the packaging; the shoes have very minor scuff marks on the toes from rubbing against the box while in transit. It's minor enough that I don't want to go through the hassle of returning them to get new one that will undoubtedly have the same issue. This is one step away from a bootie/ankle boot. After a day of standing …if your feet tend to swell, the stitching across the ball of the foot can become tight, making you want to secretly remove your shoe under the table.

I had foot surgery and have a very high arch. This shoe was to flexible and had no arch support for me. But I normally love Dansko shoes.

I got these figuring, if you get a decent shoe, you should be able to stand in them for 8 hours and have feet that feel okish. Even after weeks and the break-in period, these are not comfortable at the end of the night. On top of that, the insole seems to have more or less worn out. The shoe is made well, but for a standing position isn't all it's cracked up to be. I'll go with Merrell's next time if I want value for money. ... show more
