These shoes are very well made, look good, and are comfortable, too. I have recently developed a problem with a pain in/near the ball of my foot when I am on my feet for a long period of time. It seems these will work for me, but I will need to wear them a few more times in that situation -- on my feet for most of the day -- before I know for sure. I have plantar fasciitis and bunions. I recently had reconstructive surgery on one of my ankles. And, at 60 years of age, I decided the time had come to give away any shoes with a four inch heel. It was very hard to do. I decided to reward myself for common sense by buying these shoes. I am so happy I did. The quality of the leather is beautiful. As expected of Danskos great fit, wearable right out of the box. They can be worn dressed up for business causal or dressed down. I feel like Danskos tend my make people's feet look bigger than they really are; these shoes have a nice slim toe. A little disappointed in the packaging; the shoes have very minor scuff marks on the toes from rubbing against the box while in transit. It's minor enough that I don't want to go through the hassle of returning them to get new one that will undoubtedly have the same issue. The closing strap on the side of the shoe started to tear after a couple of wears. For the kind of price this is not acceptable. They are super nice and comfy in general the question is just how long do they last… needless to say, I returned them and am looking for an alternative.

I love Dansko shoes. I have a broad foot and decent height instep, but they fit like a glove. In typical styles I would need a wide width. A comfortable dress shoe for walking around and won't crowd toes for good foot health.
