UPDATE: I’ve worn these clogs many times now and I LOVE ‘em! I’ve also worn them with and without (thin) socks, and they’re comfy both ways. As mentioned in my initial review, you slip on these shoes and you immediately think, “It’s stiff.” To me it’s not a bad thing at all. While walking, the stiff arch support actually feels like it’s giving my arches a nice acupressure massage. This is one of my favorite pairs of shoes nowadays because I can wear them all day and forget about my (early onset) plantar fasciitis. Alas, I can only wear them on casual Fridays at work. I wish there was a dressier version to match business outfits. Initial Review: I uploaded a few photos in this review and you’ll see that a couple of them will have the clog looking too big. That’s because I initially got a Size 6.5 - 7, my typical size. It’s my first Dansko purchase, so I have no way of telling if all their footwear run big. Since I really loved the look of this particular pair, I decided to return and replace them with a Size 5.5 - 6… now they’re perfect (see photos where clog is looking much better on my foot)! 1. I’m glad it’s Made in Vietnam instead of you-know-where. 2. I expected these clogs to weigh more than the average women’s shoes— they’re clogs after all. The soles have a heavy plastic look, feel, and weight to them. 3. Slipping them on, I immediately felt the clog’s stiffness, but it felt good. I’ve been experiencing heel pain and needed shoes that supported both arch and heel. The clog’s stiff arch insole felt reassuring, in that my feet wouldn’t shift left and right as I walked. It also felt like getting acupressure, which I liked. Now, I haven’t worn these clogs for a whole day, so I don’t know if I’ll continue to feel relief or will need to switch to a different pair after a few hours. There’s a roominess to the heels, which when I walked, allowed my heels to move up and down with each stride. I read somewhere that this movement is normal when wearing clogs. In fact, the shoes didn’t come off. As you can see from my photos, the clogs are so cute! They look well-made and durable, and will go with many casual outfits. Since my shoes are new, I can’t comment yet if the leather is scuff-resistant or not. My feet are medium and I don’t have any bunions or hammer toes, or anything— just the heel pain. I mention this because those with wider— or the opposite, narrow feet— or those seeking shoes with a wide toe box might need to look elsewhere. Should I decide to wear socks with these shoes, I’ll probably go for thin ones. Without socks, they feel just fine. ... show more

I absolutely love these Dansko shoes! They perfectly blend style and comfort, which is exactly what I need for my job in the hospital. I work long hours and spend a significant amount of time on my feet, constantly walking from one department to another. DANSKO, if you can wear, tolerate them initially, until they are comfortable to wear, are a fabulous clog for both work and play. I have a 1/2 dozen different styles of dansko, each pair fits perfectly and, once you get use to them, are quite comfortable. These clogs arrived fast, and, are in perfect condition. They were awesome looking but what about us narrow people?? The medium was too wide even though I tried everything to tighten them. Had to send back. Wish these shoe manufactures would take us narrow people into more consideration.

I ordered because I have a pair of Dansko. They are the most comfortable shoes I have ever had (and I've had hundreds!). I can wear them all day, walk for miles, and still have happy feet. So I ordered the new pair. They are also comfortable, but I did find them a little wide and had to tighten the buckle. I did not return for smaller size because of the hassle to return. ... show more
