These shoes are super cute and fun to wear. When I walk, the heels have a type of cushion that feels like I have a bounce to my walk and helps propel me forward (if that makes sense). I have high arches and have had back surgery, left knee surgery and a left hip fusion so it is very hard for me to find a shoe that makes all these issues happy at the same time. These fit great and are so lightweight and comfy, but very supportive. They are so cute. I had to tighten the elastic shoestrings to get them to fit my foot properly, so they aren't really slip-ons anymore. These were affordable compared to my other in-store options. Purchased the wide option to get more room in the toe box. Sometimes, the wide is too much, but not Dansko. Enough room to comfortably fit a gel ball-of-foot cushion which is now needed (foot fat pad atrophy). Good arch support and cushioning throughout. Almost back to normal. There is no toggle to tighten the shoe! I've bought these shoes in the past and loved them, but I won't buy them again unless they put a toggle on so that the shoe fits well at the heel.
