I read some of the mixed reviews on this shoe and decided to buy them. I am glad I did. They are true to size. I wear 9.5 and the size is 9-10 which is a 40 in Dansko shoes. They feel comfortable, plenty of toe room and don't rub at the heel. Light weight and I like the style. Works well for me.

I've worn Dansko's for years because of their comfort. They were perfect for work and other activities. I am now retired but am getting ready for a walking vacation - these will fit the bill. They are extremely comfortable and will be perfect for my trip. Glad I have them to take along.

I needed a wide, black, slip on shoes for work. These were prefect and from a company I trust. I don't mind spending money on good work shoes. But, these were complete bust. I got the right size, there's plenty of length, but I highly doubt the wide. They are TIGHT! The only way I can wear them is to pull the insert out. I have orthotics so no biggie. But my orthotics are way too wide. That makes no sense. My inserts for into all my shoes (including my non- wide width shoes, except these. They can't be wide. I really need these to work so decided to wear without inserts. In less than an hour, my heel was bloody and raw. So disappointed. I'm hoping I can take them to cobbler to get stretched out more. Otherwise, it'll be complete waste of money. Unfortunately, I really can't recommend.

What is it with these type of laces, they will not stay tight so I’m going to replace them with regular laces. I wear dansko for the support they have , and the style. They look good on the foot and not like old lady comforts.

Dansko is the only brand of shoe that I wear anymore. I wanted a cute sneaker that was more lightweight than the Dansko Paisley that I wear for long walks and this looked like a good option. I didn't notice when I ordered them that the laces were not quite normal. I have very narrow feet so I like to tighten up the laces, which you can't do with the ones that came with these sneakers. They could be replaced though, which I would have done, but I just didn't feel like there was much if any arch support. My other Danskos have always had good arch support, so, mainly because of that I ended up returning them. Some of the comments said they ran small or short. I didn't find that. I always wear a 39 and these fit just fine as far as length goes.

I've had a pair of these in Black for a couple years and decided to get these blue ones that I can wear in the summer. I love my dance girls as I have a very high arch and these are the only ones that really work out and are comfortable.
