Danskos seem to be all over the place with sizing these days. In a traditional Dansko and Sanita rocker bottom professional clog, I have always been a 39 (since I started wearing them in the early 2000s). In the flats (ballet and Mary Jane styles), I am a 38, but I am a solid 39 in the Sam. For this shoe, I followed the advice from reviewers and Amazon was to size down, so I did. I got the 38, and it is perfect! The Brenna is similar to the professional style clog, but is more comfortable, cute, and lightweight to me. I was worried it may not be wide enough, but it is. And, it feels like over time the clogs will form nicely too my foot. A little worried about scuffs on the front, but love the two-tone style I will continue wearing my professional ones, though, of course. Nice to have a new style and option. Relatedly, I did NOT like the Berry slip-on mule, even though it is cute. It was huge. I think it may be that the top comes up too high (i.e., top is too long), so foot is pushed farther back. I think even if I'd sized down, it would have been a strange fit. I had like two inches in the front. I didn't feel secure in them either. Bizarre. ... show more

I’m a pretty true size 8 so I purchased these in the 7.5-8 (EU size 38) size and they fit perfectly! These are very comfortable with good arch support and I think the style is very cute but as you can see from my picture, they get scratched/scuffed very easily. For the price, I would expect the finish to hold up a little better but I still like them. ... show more

    • I love the look for work (dental), the arch support is not as good as my sanita koi’s or keens

I really like these but I have a little pain in my feet compared to when I wear sanita koi’s or Skechers arch support or keens. I’m not sure what it is , the heel is pretty floppy and yes I know they are a clog, I’ve worn sanita’s for about 20 years, I feel like the way the shoe flows during the step causes a small amount of pain. But, all my other clinic shoes gave out at the same time, so I tried my regular Skechers (no arch support) and another cheap clog and the pain was awful. So I will wear this shoe and hope my foot gets used to it. I have 5 other pairs of danskos and they are WONDERFUL- they are all sandal type.     • Nice shoe with fit issues
Size: 9.5-10 Color: Black Burnished Suede
This shoe is a nice compromise between the comfort and utility of the professional clog and the style of a more casual shoe. That was what convinced me to keep them. However, there are some issues with the fit that may make others steer clear. They Are, as many have mentioned, large and loose in the arch area. I found the length of the shoe to be true to size and even ordered a smaller size than my usual one to compare. A size down in this shoe was too snug lengthwise. Because the arch is so loose and high the shoe moves around a lot while I am walking the the heels slightly drag on the ground unless I fully lift my foot up, beyond what would be my normal gait. The arch of the insole is lower than the professional clogs though still supportive. The footbed is more cushy than other danskos I have had which tend to have a very firm footbed. Would I buy these again? No. After wearing them around more than I would before deciding to keep them, I’m sufficiently annoyed at the fit issues that I wouldn’t be a repeat customer. Size: 9.5-10 Color: Cordovan
So comfy! True to size but I do like to wear wool socks with them. The color goes with everything. They have a classic look tp them and dress up jeans. They are pricey but worth it for comfort and style. Will last a long time I'm sure.
