I bought this for my 13 year old daughter who is tall 5'6 and thin. The XS was good for her. Not too tight to show her body off, but also had a little bit of growing room and she curves out more. The dress came to a good length on her as well. Not dragging on the floor, but still holding that nice maxi length. It think it hit the top of her foot. It was very soft, laid well, the pockets didn't make the hips pucker out. We will likely order another one since this did the job so nicely and for a fair price.

The material is OK, a little on the thin side and you might be able to see through a little in the right light. I bought the charcoal gray. It’s soft and stretchy. However, the dress does not hit at the waist like in the picture- this is an empire waist and looks like you’re wearing a maternity nightgown and did not suit my figure at all. Back it went.

This dress is so comfortable and is one of my favorite dresses of all times. It is long on me and drags the ground so I do have to tie it in a knot on the side. No need to size up. Large fit perfect for me. Some could even size down one size.
