  • They’re great if unworn …
Size: 10 Wide Color: Brown
I gotta pair that didn’t fit & was pretty sure they’d been worn the first time, but thought maybe it was part of the distressed design. These actually came in a DP box, not plastic bags & look as dark as the pics. Now to ship the bad pair & best get a refund for those. Great boots if no resold boots go out. Taking a star for the hassle. ... show more

  • Pan posts boot.
Size: 12 Color: Brown
Their not the quality they where 20 yrs ago, but for the price still a nice boot. I've been wearing Danpost boots for over 30 yrs. The 12 D was to tight where it used to fit much better. I exchanged them for a 12 EW and they are very comfortable with the addition of a good pair of quality insoles thT I always buy to make them more comfortable. At least the Dan Post boots arnt made in China..... YET. ... show more

  • I would highly recommend this style and brand for the price.
Size: 9.5 X-Wide Color: Brown
No one makes hand made true 4 E extra wide boots anymore. This is the closest I could find. They seem to be good boots and should loosen up and stretch out some once broken in properly. They are very nice boots for the price . Not old school Tony Llama 1094 and 1196s in a Mink or whiskey tone. However since Tony Llama and everyone else sold out to Acme / Laredo you cant get decent boots made in San Antonio unless you know someone. The new styles all suck now and guys like me who are used to a certain boot we bought and wore for 30 or 40 years all of us hate the modern machine made in China garbarhevbeing produced today. At least these were made in Mexico where there are still a few real cobblers and boot and hat makers with some skill. I'm happy with the boots they just need broken in. I would highly recommend this style and brand for the price they are a great buy. ... show more

  • Good price, great boot.
Size: 9.5 Color: Brown
Bought these boots after reading reviews of Dan Post, Nocona, Justin, and Chippewa boots. I wanted an every day work boot that would protect me in the woods and pastures, and that would last for as long as I could wear them out. I wanted protection from snakes (copperheads, mostly), something I could pull on and off without a lot of work, and comfort in temperatures from freezing to over 100 degrees. I am very glad I bought these Dan Post boots. They fit perfectly, right on size, right out of the box. They were comfortable without needing a break in period. I wore them every day for 2 weeks as soon as I got them, working clearing pastures from woods and they were exactly what I hoped for. Now I wear them to work in several times a week, and they are great for all I do. The workmanship is excellent, they look very good, they fit comfortably, and they stand up to use. We'll see how they do over time, but I can say without reservation that I would buy these boots again, as my first choice. Update Dec 2020, 4 and 1/2 years later. Well , these boots gave out after a few years. Honestly, I can't blame the boot--I got them wet, I stomped out a bunch of wood pile fires with them and I was not very careful with them. They were farm boots, pasture boots, and barn boots. Still they lasted at least 3 1/2 years without a problem. Oh no, that's not true. The rubber pad on the heel of one boot came off and I had to nail it back on with a tack hammer. Kind of felt like the cobbler elves in "The Elves and the Shoemaker"! But, finally, the sole separated from the leather and I have big holes in the side of the boots. No elf can fix that. I guess I could blame that on the boot or the maker, but in fact, it is my fault. I am very very very hard on boots, and these held up about 2 years longer than I expected. I burned them, wet them, flooded them and abused them and they are just still the coolest boot ever made. They look MARVELOUS! Every time I wear them (even with the secret holes in the side) I get compliments. When I pull them on, I FEEL like a cowboy, even if I'm just a farmer slogging thru the back pastures. I will ABOLUTELY buy another pair, if my people don't buy one for me. I do have them in my wish list, hint, hint. If you want the truth, I love these boots, I'll certainly buy another pair, and I do notice you looking at me when I walk past while wearing them. ... show more

  • Save your money
Size: 9.5 X-Wide Color: Brown
I've had these boots for less than a year. I am now on the third pair that has been exchanged through Dan post according to them these boots are not made to be worn in a barn I inform them that I drive a truck for a living. I do not work in a barn. The third pair of boots I received less than 4 months ago. I do believe the heel is composite and hollow, not stacked leather. The leather soul is very thin. The nails are currently falling out so are the pegs and the shank is now poking out the bottom of the boot buy a different brand. The heels are simply glued on I have reglued and also put in some ring shank nails to keep them from falling off They are not worth the money and no they will not refund your money ... show more
