This is definitely something I would only ever wear inside of the house. The color is one of my favorite shades of green and it looks really good against my skin (actually it's similar to my skin tone in a weird way). The material has no real stretch. It's not going to have the most flattering effect if you don't have a flatter body, iykwim. Unfortunately, it fits weird against my glutenous area, like it wasn't expecting any company. It also enhances my belly a bit. One plus is that it feels smooth and comfy against the skin. I would have liked it better with some lace, like those lacy satin tops Bebe used to sell.

The fabric is actually very pretty but the cut of this dress is strange. It’s not cut for a normal human being in that the mid section has no darting or contouring, it’s just a straight cut down. Hard to explain but this means it just bunches up in the middle while the rest of the dress is fitted. It’s too bad because it’s a nice dress aside from the extremely large waist.

I really wanted to like this dress because the fabric is nice and the color is beautiful, but the fit is super weird. There's a lot of extra fabric around the waist area and it bunches up. It's really unflattering. The length is also kinda between midi and maxi, which looks frumpy on me (I'm 5'7). I love the color so I wish it fit correctly, but unfortunately I'll have to return it.

Love the pattern here, I got the olive color and it is a really nice color combo. It is quite a slinky silky dress, but it is versatile and comfortable

This dress didn’t work for me really. I’m sure I will wear it eventually- but I’ll need to think real hard about how to style it so I don’t feel so exposed and a little frumpy in my plus sized shape. I think I’ll have to layer it up to feel like I’m ready to go out in it. I didn’t immediately feel very confident in it. I felt like it was highlighting more flaws than showing off assets just in the way it body hugs and has a wide open back. My sister in law was nice and said it looked pretty and she liked the print- while my mom laughed at me when she saw the strapped back design and then nicely said it is maybe it’s designed to be more suited for those with a very small chest to wear it with no bra on. (I was wearing a sports bra under for just hanging out in the house- but it did look a little ridiculous like that.) I’m a 40D- so figuring out what to do at the top of this dress design for undergarments is a challenge. I’m a US women’s 18 (XXL) with a just-had-a-bunch-of-kids-mom-bod and closer to 40 than 30 and this is just too much for me to reasonably pull off without some serious shapewear under it and a whole cartigan or blazer to cover the whole open back. Don’t get me wrong- I think with some body confidence and the correct setting this could be an excellent date night dress- especially in the house or if you have the correct undergarments for a backless dress on hand in your size. I love the silky slip dress feel of it- and it slightly resembles lingerie in the material, but it’s cut so that it’s clear it’s a dress. Overall I’d recommend it- but maybe not in plus.

I got this dress as a home dress for one season, and it did exceed my expectations. I did enjoy wearing this dress around the house and sometimes walking to the post office in this :) As summer passes, the price has dropped to $20, which makes this one incredibly good deal at the time of this review. The fabric is light, thin and a bit sheer under the sunlight. Obviously the fabric doesn’t scream the quality but didn’t feel too cheap when worn either. Please know that my rating is based on my expectation of this dress as home dress for a season. As it did last whole summer without being ripped off or too worn, I am going to give this thumbs up for meeting my expectations ! I wouldn’t recommend buying this as a dress for class night out however. For your information, I got small and it was very comfortable for my 5'4", 110 pounds, Size B, and large hip. Even with my hip, xmall would've been the better fit. But again, I wanted this as a home dress so I am okay with the small size I got. But if you are planning to wear it outside, get your size.
