These shoes came nicely packed up. They didn’t come in a box, it’s more like a shoe bag that cinches. It would have been nice to get a box to keep them protected. The shoes themselves are a nice tan color with an ombré black tip. The toe is more almond shaped, not the tapered pointy toe most dress shoes have. The heels and sole are very thick and feel sturdy. They have a great traction pattern and would do well as both an inside and outside shoe. They’re also comfortable to walk in, they don’t squeak, and are not loud. The stitching looks good and the material is smooth. It looks very much like leather but doesn’t feel it. The only thing I don’t like is how the material is pulled together at the back. It looks like a butt lol it’s kind of unnecessary but it’s there. It’s not a huge deal but I can’t unsee it and it feels a little sloppy. That one small detail aside, these are really great shoes. They’re good looking, comfortable and I would recommend!

Inexpensive traditional black leather dress shoe - nothing fancy but a good value overall. Real leather upper - thin but soft and shiny with nice, natural creases. Outsole is a thick, durable rubber with a good heel and tread. Not exactly a walking shoe but a good choice for subway commuters or office workers who are constantly moving. Insole isn't especially comfortable but above average for a dress shoe - firm and supportive but not so much in the arches. Not much in the way of interior padding beyond a fabric liner, and might require thicker socks. Two things to be aware of: (1) this is *not* a traditional wingtip design - has some brogue elements but not the full widow's peak at the toe. (2) there is a very strong chemical smell to these shoes right out of the box. It's common to have a little bit of a 'new car smell' with new shoes but this is well beyond normal and will take a day or so to air out.
