I bought this ring as a temporary replacement for my wedding ring which I very regrettably lost. It's a very similar ring with the same 3 stone style. It looks a lot alike, and the “diamonds” are very sparkly like the real thing. I definitely recommend it.

So - these prongs are pretty tall. That's good for security, bad if you tend to catch things on your sweater or get it stuck in your hair every time your hand gets near your head. That said, I think it's due at least in part to the three-prong side stone settings, because you need a little extra when you're only holding in three places. I'm a fan of the three-prong here though because it takes round stones - by far the best cut for maximizing the brilliance of any stone - and sort of makes them read as trillion in overall shape, for an overall group of three that comes to very nice points on the sides. If you're going to wear this as a travel ring or primary engagement ring, be advised on the front end that you're going to need a semi-custom band to fit against this. It doesn't have a straight edge on either side to work in a stack. That's obviously not an issue if you want to wear it on its own as a right-hand ring to treat yourself (because we are all very welcome to buy our own nice things!) or anniversary ring. The band is stamped 925 and is not magnetically reactive. The other side is stamped D1.0ctd0.98 ct, meaning that the main stone is 1 carat and all accessory stones combined total .98 carats. That's actually more carat weight than promised in the description - they say it's 1.87 (which it generally shouldn't be since it's symmetrical, so you want an even number, but you never know about odd stone sizes or rounding). All of the stones pass thermo testing with zero issues, including the tiny accessory stones in the band.
