Really great little kit. Very detailed. Super cute. Easy to follow instructions with good pictures. Made of a lot nicer material than I expected. Very impressed with the quality of it. I will definitely be buying more!

This is still not a complete project as it takes time and patience to get through this thing. I wish that the kit had come with glue as well as some tools to help with the smaller pieces. Overall it has been a decent project, but I dont think it is something I would do again. The instructions arent always 100% clear and the illustrations done help out much either. One of the first steps is putting the touch sensor on to turn the lights on and off...I am still not sure if it goes underneath or on top of the floor. This kit is good for someone that enjoys small craft projects like this, but it has been a whole lot more work what I thought was going to be an easier project for my wife's book shelves.

Took me longer than the suggested timeframe (still putting it together, actually), but I’m gluing everything down so I have to wait for the glue to dry before going to some next steps. This is definitely a challenge and not for those with no patience. The wood pieces are pre-cut (thank the gods), but you have to cut all the paper printed items by hand, which was very time consuming. But the results are so super cute!! (Pic included is of the ‘main desk’). Definitely recommended for detail-oriented people!! I’m probably going to buy another to put together in the future (the detective agency).

My only disappointment was the power button can only be activated by raising the dust cover widow which will keep fingerprints on it. The other six I made had the power buttons on the OUTSIDE where it is easily accessible.
